Shield member, shield member-attached electric wire, intermediate product for shield member, and method for producing shield member
A shield member that includes a drain wire with a free end portion by cutting a long drain wire-attached shield member to a desired length. The shield member includes a shield portion and a drain wire. The shield portion can shield an electric wire. The drain wire includes a holding portion provided between a first end and a second end of the shield portion and held in the shield portion; and an extension portion that is continuous with the holding portion and extends outward from the shield portion. At least a portion of the holding portion extends between the first end and the second end of the shield portion while having excess length.
CABLE
A cable includes: a pair of core wires; an insulating layer covering the pair of core wires; a shielding layer covering the insulating layer; and an outer insulating layer covering the shielding layer; wherein the shielding layer is a double-layer metal foil.
Ground strap and method of grounding a plurality of electrically conductive members therewith
A ground strap for grounding electrical cables for protection against at least one of EMI, RFI or ESD and method of construction thereof is provided. The ground strap has a wall with opposite edges extending along a lengthwise direction between opposite ends. The wall is formed from a plurality of interlaced filaments, with at least some of the plurality of interlaced filaments including a plurality of electrically conductive filaments interlaced in electrical communication with one another.
CABLE
A cable includes: a core wire including an inner conductor and an insulating layer around the inner conductor by extrusion molding; a shielding layer covering the core wire; and an outer insulating layer covering the shielding layer; wherein the shielding layer is silver-plated copper foil, and there is no insulating layer between the core wire and the silver-plated copper foil.
CABLE
A cable includes: a pair of core wires; an integrally extruded insulating layer covering the pair of core wires; a shielding layer covering the extruded insulating layer; and an outer insulating layer covering the shielding layer; wherein the pair of core wires are arranged longitudinally side by side and touch each other.
COMMUNICATION CABLE AND WIRE HARNESS
A communication cable includes two-core communication wires, a drain wire, and a metal foil collectively covering the two-core communication wires and the drain wire. The two-core communication wires are twisted, and the metal foil is wound around the two-core communication wires with an adhesion strength of 1.21 MPa or more. Preferably, the two-core communication wires are twisted with a twist pitch of 20 mm or more and 60 mm or less. The communication cable further may include a restraint formed of a resin coating extruded around the metal foil or a resin film laterally wound around the metal foil.
Three-wire communication cable
Three-wire communication cables are useful for operation with a vehicle as vehicular data communication cables. The cables include a cable core formed of three insulated wires twisted together at a defined pitch and a jacket surrounding the cable core. The cables can meet Mobile Industry Processor Interface (“MIPI”) C-PHY℠ standard (Version 1.2) as well as International Standards Organization (“ISO”) 6722-1 (2011) and 14572 (2011).
FLAT CABLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLAT CABLE
Disclosed are a flat cable and a method for manufacturing the same. The flat cable includes a plurality of pairs of differential signal conductors, a grounding conductor, an insulation sheath, a covering layer, and a metal conductive member. The grounding conductor is disposed between each two adjacent ones of the plurality of pairs of differential signal conductors. The insulation sheath wraps outer sides of the plurality of pairs of differential signal conductors and the grounding conductor. The covering layer covers an outer side of the insulation sheath. An opening is disposed in the insulation sheath, the opening communicates with the grounding conductor, and an area of the opening is greater than an area of the grounding conductor. At least one part of the metal conductive member is received in the opening and is in electrical contact with the grounding conductor.
CABLING APPARATUS FOR HIGH-RESISTANCE APPLICATIONS
A telecommunications cable for making high resistance measurements comprising a plurality of bundles, each comprising a twisted pair of Category 6a copper conductors and a metal foil shield, one of said copper conductors in each twisted pair serving as a signal wire and the other of said copper conductors in each twisted pair being grounded to thereby serve as a noise ground, a braided grounded metal sheath surrounding said plurality of bundles of twisted pairs; and a grounded shield used as an outer sleeve, whereby said cable is triple grounded.
Circuit Board Assembly with High-Speed Cable
A circuit board assembly has a circuit board and a high-speed cable. The high-speed cable has two signal lines, a ground conductor, an impedance-reducing conductor, and a covering material. The signal lines, the ground conductor, and the impedance-reducing conductor are mounted through the entire high-speed cable. The covering material wraps the signal lines, the ground conductor, and the impedance-reducing conductor, and has a conductive layer and an isolation layer as an inner layer and an outer layer respectively. The conductive layer has multiple loops electrically connected to the ground conductor and the impedance-reducing conductor. Thus, the impedance in the covering material, the ground conductor, and the impedance-reducing conductor is decreased, which prevents from attenuating the signal intensity during transmission at high frequency.
