ELECTRICAL FEEDTHROUGH ASSEMBLY WITH INSULATION ELEMENT
An electrical feedthrough assembly is disclosed having a base body with at least one opening for a conductor embedded in a fixation material that is fed into each of the respective openings and sealing the respective opening. The electrical feedthrough assembly further includes an insulation element made from a material having a first glass-transition temperature t.sub.g1, wherein the insulation element is affixed by an adhesive material arranged between the insulation element and the fixation material.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION HAVING AN IMPROVED FEEDTHROUGH ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a feedthrough (200) adapted for use within a passage (300). The feedthrough (300) has a body (202) having a first interface region (204) and a second interface region (206). The first interface region (204) comprises a platform region (214). At least one electrical conductor (212) extends through the body (202) and out of the body (202) to both the first interface region (204) and the second interface region (206). A printed circuit board (216) is attached to the platform region (214). At least one pin hole (234) defined by the printed circuit board (216) is configured to accept the at least one electrical conductor (212).
Electrical feedthrough
An electrical feedthrough includes a base body having a first side and an opposed second side and at least one through-hole extending through the base body from the first side to the second side, an insulating material received in the through-hole, the insulating material having a first surface on the first side of the base body and an opposed second surface on the second side of the base body, and an electrical conductor extending through the insulating material, the electrical conductor having a first diameter at the location of the first surface of the insulating material and a second diameter at the location of the second surface of the insulating material, wherein the first diameter of the electrical conductor is larger than the second diameter of the electrical conductor.
AUTOCLAVABLE ELECTRICAL FEEDTHROUGH AND GLASS FOR AN AUTOCLAVABLE ELECTRICAL FEEDTHROUGH
An electrical feedthrough includes: a main body having a through-opening running through the main body and comprising titanium or titanium alloy; an insulation material accommodated in the through-opening, the insulation material comprising a glass; and an electrical conductor that extends through the insulation material accommodated in the through-opening. The glass is a lanthanum borate glass comprising the following components (in mol % based on oxide): 22.0-37.0 B.sub.2O.sub.3; 1.0-12.0 La.sub.2O.sub.3; 10.5-23.0 SiO.sub.2; 29.0-45.0 RO (MgO+CaO+SrO); 0.1-6.0 Nb.sub.2O.sub.5+ZrO.sub.2+TiO.sub.2+Ta.sub.2O.sub.5; and greater than 3.00 SiO.sub.2/(Nb.sub.2O.sub.5+ZrO.sub.2+TiO.sub.2+Ta.sub.2O.sub.5). The glass, on determination of hydrolytic stability in accordance with DIN ISO 720:2021-12, has an Na.sub.2O equivalence value of <1250 g/g. The feedthrough has long-term autoclaving stability and an insulation resistance of the feedthrough after 300 autoclaving operations is at least 1*10.sup.9 ohms.
