A magnetic platform which is adaptable for receiving trays of different sizes and types includes a base and a plurality of first magnets. The first magnets are fixed and held to the base by magnetic attraction. The positions of the first magnets on the base can be changed to accommodate different trays.

Release lever for magnetic tool with alignment insert element

A magnetic hand tool and method of assembly for manipulated conveyance over a surface for magnetic collection of ferrous articles, by which procedure a quick-release cap is used to release any and all collected ferrous material. This tool utilizes an alignment insert in a central opening of the magnet to coaxially align fastener guide holes through polar plates or protective covers on opposing planar sides of the magnet and a fastener guide hole in the insert, whereby insertion of the fastener through the guide holes laterally aligns the components of the assembly. The invention is the release device/cap, that is part of the assembly by means of a self-adhering or hinged cap with a lip, square, circular or other shape, to aid in the separation of ferrous material from the magnetic tool by pushing away the cap from the magnetic hand tool by holding the lip for that purpose. The divots make it that the release lever device/cap is held onto the magnetic hand tool assembly. The separation allows for the ferrous material to fall in the drop collection box by ways of gravitational pull.

ELECTROMAGNET-SWITCHABLE PERMANENT MAGNET DEVICE

A switchable permanent magnetic unit is disclosed. The unit comprises: a housing, first and second permanent magnets, and a conductive coil. The first magnet is mounted within the housing and the second magnet is rotatable between first and second positions and mounted within the housing in a stacked relationship with the first magnet. The unit generates a first level of magnetic flux at a workpiece contact interface when the second magnet is in the first position and a second level of magnetic flux at the interface when the second magnet is in the second position, the second level being greater than the first level. The conductive coil is arranged about the second magnet and generates a magnetic field. A component of the conductive coil's magnetic field is directed from S to N along the second magnet's N-S pole pair when the second magnet is in the first position.

The electric permanent magnet chuck has the advantages of a simple structure, low processing difficulty, good sealing performance, small magnetic loss and so on.

Magnetic Adsorption Device

A magnetic adsorption device includes an electromagnet, a pickup member made of a magnetizable material and disposed in a magnetic field of the electromagnet, and a magnetic shield sleeve sleeved on the pickup member and movable back and forth with respect to the pickup member. The pickup member is adapted to adsorb an electronic device by a magnetic force. A length of a portion of the pickup member exposed from the magnetic shield sleeve is adjustable by moving the magnetic shield sleeve to adjust the magnetic force of the pickup member.

A mechanism for fixing together first and second parts and comprising first and second guides provided respectively in or attached to the first and second parts. The mechanism further comprises first and second magnetic components coupled respectively to the first and second guides such that the first magnetic component is rotatable with the first guide and the first part, and the second magnetic component cannot rotate relative to the second guide, the magnetic components being moveable axially and rotationally with respect to each other and having magnetic poles oriented such that rotation of said first magnetic component causes relative axial movement of the magnetic components between a locking position in which one of the magnetic components straddles the two guides and an unlocking position in which it does not straddle the two guides.

System and apparatus for providing power to remote electronic devices

Embodiments are directed to systems and apparatuses for providing power to remote electronic devices. In one scenario, a system is provided which includes a sconce body. The sconce body includes a proximal side that allows placement adjacent to a wall, ceiling or surface, a distal side having an exterior surface, a cavity that slidably receives and encloses a removable power source, and an electronic device on or within the sconce body. The electronic device electrically connects to and is powered by the removable power source. The removable power source of the system can be slidably received within and enclosed by the cavity of the sconce body. The system also includes a wand that is attachable to and detachable from the removable power source. The wand has a specified length and is configured to provide for selective attachment of the removable power source to and removal from the sconce body.
