A headset is described that utilizes magnetic frictional couplers. A coupler includes a first member having a first engagement surface and a second member having a second engagement surface disposed for relative positioning of the first and second members along a line of adjustment. One or more magnetic elements are arranged on the first and second members to establish a magnetic flux between the first engagement surface and the second engagement surface, and thereby establishing a frictional force tending to hold the relative positions of the first and second members. The magnetic flux varies as a function of relative position of the first and second members along the line of adjustment, and has peaks at a plurality of detent positions along the line of adjustment.

PROTECTIVE CASE WITH MULTI-MODE ROTATABLE MAGNETIC POSITIONING AND CLOSURE SYSTEM

A protective case for a mobile or handheld device is disclosed. The case includes front and rear cover components that are configured to rotate relative to one another so that the case is capable of being configured by the user into have multi-mode use configurations. The case includes a rotatable magnetic clasp that rotates to magnetically secure the case in desired configuration. The magnetic clasp includes a rotatable magnet component attached to one end region of the case and a fixedly positioned and oriented magnet secured to another opposing end region of the case. The rotation of the magnet allows the user to re-orient the polarity of the magnetic component to facilitate mechanical and magnetic retention of the desired configuration.

STORAGE DEVICE

Disclosed is a storage device, including a first protective shell and a second protective shell for enclosing a peripheral side of an object that needs to be stored, and a locking member and an auxiliary unlocking member. The auxiliary unlocking member is configured to move along a shell surface of the first protective shell or move inside and outside towards the first protective shell to resist a locking force of the locking member. The locking member which can meet the locking and unlocking requirements of two protective shells cooperated with the auxiliary unlocking member which can adjust the locking force or locking state between two protective shells to reduce the difficulty of unlocking two protective shells. Therefore, the storage device can be used to reasonably and effectively store and protect the earphone charging compartment, or other products that are small in size and have a smooth and rounded appearance.

Line holder

A line mount includes a treatment machine having a housing and one or more magnets or ferromagnetic elements mounted thereon, a line holder having at least one complementary one of magnets and ferromagnetic elements such as to cause the line holder to be attachable magnetically to the housing. The one or more magnets or ferromagnetic elements being numbered and arranged to permit the line holder to be supported thereby in multiple positions and orientations relative to the housing.

Magnetic block locking of an electronic device

An electronic device comprising a first portion and a second portion pivotably connected to each other is disclosed. The electronic device is pivotable between a closed position and an open position. The device comprises a magnetically attractable arrangement within or on the second portion and a magnetic arrangement comprising a magnet having a magnetic field and a magnetic shielding element disposed within or on the first portion. At least one of the magnet or the magnetic shielding element is configured to move translationally with respect to the other between a shielded position and an engaging position when the first portion is pivoted with respect to the second portion. In the shielded position, the magnetic shielding element at least partially reduces a portion of the magnetic field extending outside of the first portion. In the engaging position, the magnet engages the magnetically attractable arrangement.

Wrist-worn device clasp

A wrist-worn device clasp that secures a strap of the wrist-worn device. A first mechanical part of the wrist worn device interlocks with a second mechanical part by motion in a first plane in order to resist motion perpendicular to said first plane. The first mechanical part also inhibits a first securing part and a second securing part being separated by tension along the strap substantially perpendicular to the first plane when the first mechanical part and second mechanical part are engaged with each other. The first securing part and the second securing part inhibit separation of the first mechanical part and the second mechanical part by motion parallel to the first plane when they are engaged with each other by motion perpendicular to the first plane.
