Magnetic plugs for electrical containment enclosures
A magnetic plug and method of plugging unwanted knockout holes in electrical containment enclosures. The method requires only one hand and is performed without tools. Everything can be done from outside the electrical containment enclosure. The actual plugging step is completed in a few seconds. One of nine invented plugs is selected to best match the nine standardized hole diameters found in electrical containment enclosures. Selecting the correct plug size results in the best fit and feel since perception matters. Savings in time and money is expected to pay back the cost of a plug.
DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES EMPLOYING A LIVING HINGE
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

Earphone case
An earphone case includes a body, a storage member, a cover, and a reset member. The body has a chamber and a fixing base. The base is securely disposed in the chamber. The storage member is disposed in the chamber, located above the fixing base, contacted with the body, and has multiple first magnetic parts. The cover is pivotally connected to the storage member and the fixing base, and the cover has multiple second magnetic parts. The reset member is disposed above the fixing base and connected to the body and the storage member respectively. In close mode, the cover completely covers the storage member. The multiple first magnetic parts and second magnetic parts are magnetically attracted to each other. In open mode, the cover is relatively separated from the storage member and rotated at an angle, such that the cover partially overlaps with the storage member.
MAGNETIC HOUSING FOR MOBILE DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a magnetic housing for mobile device and a manufacturing process of the magnetic housing. The magnetic housing includes a housing body, an outer sleeve, a magnetic coil, and an inner lining. The housing body comprises a bearing part and a surrounding part. The surrounding part is connected to and intersecting with an outer periphery of the bearing part to form an accommodating space. The accommodating space accommodates a mobile device. The bearing part comprises a groove. The outer sleeve is disposed on a surface of the housing body away from the accommodating space. The magnetic coil is disposed in the groove. The inner lining is disposed on a surface of the housing body close to the accommodating space. The overall thickness of the housing for mobile device would not be increased when magnetic coils are disposed.
MAGNETIC FRICTIONAL COUPLER
A coupler includes a first member having a first engagement surface and a second member having a second engagement surface disposed for relative positioning of the first and second members along a line of adjustment. One or more magnetic elements are arranged on the first and second members to establish a magnetic flux between the first engagement surface and the second engagement surface, and thereby establishing a frictional force tending to hold the relative positions of the first and second members. The magnetic flux varies as a function of relative position of the first and second members along the line of adjustment, and has peaks at a plurality of detent positions along the line of adjustment.
Flexible display apparatus
A flexible display apparatus includes a display panel, a housing movably supporting the display panel, and a magnetic portion coupled to each of the display panel and the housing, wherein the magnetic portion includes a first magnetic portion coupled to one side of the display panel, having a first magnetism, and a second magnetic portion including a first magnetic member coupled to the housing to face the first magnetic portion, having the first magnetism and a second magnetic member having a second magnetism opposite to the first magnetism.
Flexible magnetic sealing apparatus
A magnetic sealing closure, comprising: a. a first flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; b. a second flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; wherein said sealing closure comprises membranes connectable to said first strip, and a second membrane connectable to said second strip, such that said plurality of magnetic elements of said second strip are embedded within said plurality of cavities between said second strip and said second membrane; when said first and second strips and are brought together from the side of said first and second membranes, magnetic elements of said first and said second strips magnetically attract each other, such that a sealing is provided.
Systems for securing bend stiffeners to riser systems in offshore energy production facilities
Disclosed are systems for securing a bend stiffener to a riser in an offshore energy production facility. In one system, the lower end of the bend stiffener has a magnet that repels a magnet in a clamp on the riser a distance below the bend stiffener. The magnets repel one another with a force during operation to decelerate falling and prevent contact between the clamp and the bend stiffener. Methods are provided for retrofitting a riser system by adding the magnets. In another system, the riser has an upper portion and a tapered portion immediately below the upper portion. The outer diameter of the tapered portion increases such that the tapered portion can be friction fit into the lower end of the bend stiffener in the event that the bend stiffener is forced down or free falls onto the riser.
Carrier, Magnetically Attachable to Garment
There is provided a carrier, for carrying one or more personal articles on any part of a garment, comprising a patch, configured to be temporarily attachable to the inner side of the garment and including one or more magnets, configured to hold attached to the outer side of the garment at least one article or articles holder that may be attracted magnetically. There are also provided holders, each formed to hold one or more of the articles and configured to be temporarily attachable to the outer side of the garment and to be magnetically attracted to any of the magnets. Any of the holders may include one or more magnets, configured to be attracted to corresponding magnets in the patch. Any of the holders may be formed as a pouch or a pocket.
