[Object] To provide a solenoid with which, when attaching an iron core to a yoke, the iron core can be easily and firmly attached using an inexpensive, small, and general-purpose hand tool without crimping the iron core using a large press machine.

[Solution] A solenoid of the present invention is configured to include a yoke having a U-shaped cross section, a bobbin having an electromagnetic coil disposed inside the yoke, a fixed iron core disposed inside the bobbin, and a flapper attached to the yoke to be able to swing freely. The fixed iron core and a bottom surface of the yoke are integrally coupled by threaded fitting. Thus, the fixed iron core can be easily attached to the bottom surface of the yoke using a general-purpose, inexpensive, and small hand tool (a hand drill or an electric driver) without requiring a large workplace for crimping the fixed iron core as in the related art.

A ferromagnetic core (28) is mounted so as to be translatable inside the coil (22), from a rest position to a working position, as an effect of the energizing of the coil (22). One end (32) of the core (28), facing towards the first branch (14) of said body (12), has a frustoconical shape essentially complementary to the internal shape (30b) of the formation (30). The frustoconical formation (30) of the first branch (14) of said body (12) is blind and has a planar distal bottom wall (30a).

In this solenoid, a permanent magnet and a coil are both built into a cylindrical case having an opening part; the permanent magnet and the coil are both separated and arranged inside the case; a ring member is arranged adjacent to the permanent magnet; a movable iron core is inserted inside the coil; and between the movable iron core and the coil, a metal coil cover is provided so as to cover the coil. The distance d between the case inner wall and the ring member can also be in the range of 0.1-0.3 mm.

The present invention discloses a moving iron core guide mechanism for an HVDC relay, comprising a pushrod, an upper section of the pushrod being located above a yoke plate and fixed with a moving contact assembly, a middle section and a lower section of the pushrod passing through the yoke plate downward, the middle section of the pushrod being fixed with a moving iron core; the moving iron core is located inside a magnetic conductive cylinder of a U-shaped yoke; a lower bushing is fixed inside the magnetic conductive cylinder, and the lower bushing is located below the moving iron core; a lower guide hole running from top to bottom is formed on the lower bushing; and the lower section of the pushrod is always fitted inside the lower guide hole of the lower bushing, and the pushrod is in smooth contact with an inner wall of the lower guide hole. In the present invention, the up-and-down motion of the moving iron core and the pushrod can become easier while the turns of the coil can be maintained; and the production cost can be reduced when the moving iron core and the pushrod are in normal use.

The stator core has a magnetic attraction core, and a sliding core having a cylindrical core portion, a first magnetic flux transfer portion configured to transfer a flux between the yoke and the core portion, and a magnetic flux passage suppressing portion configured to suppress passage of magnetic flux between the sliding core and the magnetic attraction core. A second magnetic flux transfer portion is arranged on a radial outside of the magnetic attraction core end portion and transfers the magnetic flux between the magnetic attraction core and the cylindrical portion. The first magnetic flux transfer portion is gap-fitted in the cylindrical portion.
