Solenoid device

A solenoid device includes a yoke, a core, a shaft, a bobbin, a coil, a plunger, a lid, and a housing. A housing body part of the housing has a first opening; a cylindrical first inner wall part having a first step part extending toward the outer side in the radial direction; and a cylindrical second inner wall part having a second step part extending toward the outer side in the radial direction. A first cylindrical part has a first flange part. The outer diameter of the first flange part is larger than the inner diameter of the first inner wall part and smaller than the inner diameter of the second inner wall part. A circumferential end part of the first flange part contacts the second step part. The lid is non-magnetic, and a circumferential edge part is held between the first step part and the first flange part.

Adjusting Device With Sealed Guide Cylinder

An adjusting device having at least one tappet assembly. The at least one tappet assembly comprises a tappet, at least one guide cylinder, and a pole core. The tappet is arranged in the guide cylinder in a movable manner along a longitudinal axis, and a non-magnetic connection socket is arranged between the guide cylinder and the pole core. The guide cylinder and the pole core are arranged at a distance to each other in the longitudinal axis by means of the connection socket.

A moveable part is moveable toward the static part by the magnetic flux of a solenoid. The moveable part may include a moveable body and a second cylindrical extension extending from the moveable body, the second cylindrical extension including a cylindrical outer surface having a second diameter, smaller than the first diameter, to enable the cylindrical outer surface to move within the open end. The second diameter is sized for the cylindrical outer surface to pass adjacent to the cylindrical inner surface to enable passage of a portion of the magnetic flux radially to reduce an energy of impact between the moveable part and the static part.

A solenoid including a first magnetic core and a second magnetic core defining an air gap between. A displaceable ferromagnetic member is within the air gap. The ferromagnetic member magnetically connects the first magnetic core and the second magnetic core to create a magnetic flux path between them. This flux results in an increased pull between the first magnetic core and the second magnetic core. A solenoid coil surrounds at least one of the first magnetic core and the second magnetic core.

A yoke is provided with a notch, notched from two points P1 and P2 on a circumference forming a sleeve-side insertion hole toward the outside of the circumference, the notch having a minimum distance between the points P1 and P2 as a width W and the distance from a straight line linking the points P1 and P2 in a direction orthogonal to the straight line as a length L. The width W of the notch is set on the basis of a target attraction force for attracting a plunger, the attraction force increasing with an increase in the width W, and the length L of the notch is greater than or equal to a prescribed length Ld where the attraction force increasing with an increase in the length L becomes constant at the target attraction force in the set width W irrespective of an increase in the length L.

A position detection apparatus includes a magnetic unit and a sensor. The magnetic unit includes a magnetic member and a retainer. The magnetic member includes a magnet and a first magnetic yoke. The magnet extends in an axial direction and has a cross-section orthogonal to the axial direction, and a first maximum outer diameter in a radial direction orthogonal to the axial direction. The cross-section has a substantially constant area in the axial direction. The first magnetic yoke is disposed adjacent to the magnet in the axial direction and has a second maximum outer diameter in the radial direction. The second maximum outer diameter is greater than the first maximum outer diameter. The retainer extends in the axial direction and retains the magnetic member. The sensor detects a magnetic field that changes in association with a movement of the magnetic unit along the axial direction.

Solenoid including axially aligned guides

A solenoid includes a coil defining an axis, an armature disposed radially inward of the coil, and a plurality of linear guides disposed at least partially between a radially inward facing surface of the coil and a radially outward facing surface of the armature. Each of the linear guides has a frictional surface area, with a dimension of the frictional surface area aligned with the axis being larger than a dimension of the frictional surface area aligned with a circumference of the coil.

ELECTROMAGNET AND A METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

The electromagnet, at least comprising a magnet coil wound onto a coil core, a housing, a pole core, an armature, an armature rod and a yoke, should have a very low hysteresis of the force with a variable stroke at low manufacturing costs. The coil core is manufactured by jointly overmolding or overcasting the yoke, the pole core and the core flange with a plastic mass, wherein the axial intermediate space between the yoke and the pole core (4) is also filled with the plastic mass. Electromagnets of the described type are used for actuating fluid valves or couplings, preferentially in motor vehicles or in mobile working machines.
