Solenoid device
A solenoid device includes a yoke, a core, a shaft, a bobbin, a coil, a plunger, a lid, and a housing. A housing body part of the housing has a first opening; a first inner wall part expanding toward the outer side in the radial direction on an inner wall; and a first caulking part extending from the rear side end. The first inner wall part has a first step part extending toward the outer side in the radial direction at an end on the other side in the axial direction. A first cylindrical part of the yoke has a first flange part. The first flange part contacts the first step part with an end surface on the other side in the axial direction. The first caulking part is bent toward the inner side in the radial direction to contact a circumferential edge part of the lid.
SOLENOID VALVE
A solenoid valve includes a valve portion and a solenoid portion. The valve portion has a sleeve and a valve body. The solenoid portion includes a tubular coil portion, a magnetic yoke having a side surface portion and a bottom portion, a columnar plunger, a shaft, a stator core having a core shaft hole for sliding the plunger in the axial direction, and a base portion having a base shaft hole. In a radial thickness of the sleeve, a thickness of a part corresponding to an end outer peripheral surface is smaller than a thickness of a sliding portion of an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve, which is a portion on which the valve body slides.
Vapor impermeable solenoid for fuel vapor environment
A vapor impermeable solenoid for a fuel tank isolation valve assembly an outer housing defining an inner cavity, windings configured to generate a magnetic flux when energized, and a flux collector configured to direct the magnetic flux. An armature tube is disposed within the inner cavity inboard of the flux collector and formed of a magnetic and vapor impermeable material configured to prevent fuel vapor molecules from passing therethrough. A pole piece is disposed within the armature tube, and a magnetic armature is disposed within the armature tube and operably coupled to a seal configured to selectively seal a passage that allows fuel vapor to pass to a purge canister. The magnetic armature is configured to move from a first position to a second position when an electric current is applied to the windings.
Electric suspension device
A second electric suspension device includes a second electromagnetic actuator that is provided between the vehicle body and a wheel of a vehicle and generates a driving force for damping vibration of the vehicle. The second electromagnetic actuator includes a columnar rod member and a casing surrounding the rod member and being provided capable of moving forward and backward relative to the rod member in the axial direction. Casing-side armature coils are provided in the casing in the axial direction, whereas magnets are provided in the rod member in the axial direction in such a manner as to face part of the casing-side armature coils in the casing. The magnets are formed by permanent magnets and electromagnets including rod-side armature coils.
Systems and Methods for a Self-Shorting Bi-Stable Solenoid
A bi-stable solenoid includes a housing, a wire coil arranged within the housing, a first pole piece, a second pole piece, an armature slidably arranged within the housing, and a permanent magnet arranged within the armature between a first armature portion and a second armature portion. The first armature portion and the second armature portion are fabricated from a magnetically permeable material. Selective energization of the wire coil generates a wire coil flux path and is configured to move the armature between the first stable position and the second stable position. The first stable position is established by magnetic flux of the permanent magnet shorting through the first pole piece, and the second stable position is established by the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet traversing the wire coil flux path.
FLEXIBLE THOMSON COIL TO SHAPE FORCE PROFILE/MULTI-STAGE THOMSON COIL
Coil-based actuators for use in opening and closing the separable contacts of circuit interrupters provide increased initial velocity for opening strokes and damping at the end of opening strokes. Electronics for adjusting the current profile of current supplied to coil-based actuators additionally provide increased initial velocity for opening strokes and damping at the conclusion of opening strokes.
Rotary solenoid
A rotary solenoid includes: a fixed body portion having a casing in which a pair of bearing portions and positioned on front and rear sides are provided; and a movable body portion having a rotation shaft rotatably supported by the pair of bearing portions. The fixed body portion includes: the casing formed of a magnetic material; and an air-cored coil of which the surface orthogonal to an axial direction of the rotation shaft is fixed to an inner surface of the casing. The movable body portion includes: a rotor yoke having one end fixed to the rotation shaft; and a magnet portion having a pair of magnets and fixed to an opposing surface positioned on the other end side of the rotor yoke serving as a surface opposing the air-cored coil and disposed along a rotation direction of the opposing surface.
