System in package device including inductor
Described examples include a system in package (SIP) device, including: a first leadframe having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface; an integrated circuit die including solder bumps on a first surface and having a second opposite surface, the solder bumps mounted to the second surface of the first leadframe; a second leadframe having a first surface including a die pad portion, and a second opposite surface, the die pad portion attached to the second surface of the integrated circuit die; and an inductor mounted to the first surface of the first leadframe, the inductor having terminals with exterior portions electrically connected and mechanically connected to the first surface of the first leadframe, the inductor terminals spaced from one another by a portion of an inductor body, the portion of the inductor body between the inductor terminals spaced from the first surface of the first leadframe by a gap of at least 100 ms.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a chip component and a metal terminal. The metal terminal is connected with the chip component. The metal terminal includes an electrode facing portion and a holding portion. The electrode facing portion is arranged correspondingly with an end surface of the terminal electrode of the chip component. The holding portion holds the chip component. A space region between the electrode facing portion and the end surface of the terminal electrode includes a joint region and a non-joint region. In the joint region, a connection member connects the electrode facing portion and the end surface of the terminal electrode. The non-joint region is formed without the connection member between a periphery of the joint region and the holding portion.
Electronic device
An inductor bridge is provided with a flexible flat plate-shaped element body, a first connector, and a second connector. The element body includes therein an inductor portion. The inductor portion is configured by a spiral conductor pattern. The first connector is provided on the element body and is connected to a first circuit. The second connector is provided on the element body and is connected to a second circuit.
PACKAGE FOR HOUSING AN ELECTRIC OR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A package for housing an electric or electronic component is disclosed. The package includes a base and a header that includes a top portion and a support portion. The support portion has a first and a second end that defines a first and a second opening respectively. The top portion is secured to the first end and covers the first opening. The top portion includes a header vent to allow a substance (e.g., air, water, etc.) to flow into or out of an interior of the package. The header is configured to house the component therein. The header can be placed into a circular hole of the circuit board. The base is secured to the second end of the support portion, and is configured to secure the package to the circuit board. The vent can minimize moisture within the package and/or drain liquid from inside of the package.
