A residual load circuit breaker (1) includes a rotary switch body (23), which includes a contact blade (24, 25, 26, 27), that is rotatable about an axis (A) and is arranged between a feed line connection (20) and a discharge line connection (21), and includes end-side contact surfaces (28, 29, 30, 31) protruding in a radial direction. The contact surfaces, in a closed rotary position (S1) of the rotary switch body (23), are in touching contact with the feed line connection (20) and with the discharge line connection (21). In an open rotary position (S2) of the rotary switch body (23), the contact surfaces are each spaced with respect to the feed line connection (20) and with the discharge line connection (21). The residual load isolating switch (1) is rotationally limited in one rotational direction for performing switching movements and can be actuated unidirectionally and cyclically.

SWITCHING DEVICE
20200335286 · 2020-10-22 ·

A switching device including a frame, a first fixed contact member having a first contact area, and a first movable contact member having a first contact arm provided with a contact area. The first movable contact member is adapted to pivot relative to the frame around a first pivoting axis between a first position and a second position. The switching device includes a spreader member that is adapted to provide a first intermediate position for the first movable contact member in which a projection of the contact area of the first contact arm overlaps at least partially with a projection of the first contact area on a switch plane perpendicular to the first pivoting axis while the contact area of the first contact arm is spaced apart from the first contact area.

Electrical switch

An electrical switch. The electrical switch includes at least one fixed contact and a movable contact contacting the fixed contact. At least one shutter element is arranged to move in synchronism with the movable contact. The shutter element is positioned in an extended position between the fixed contact and the movable contact and in a contracted position outside the patch of the movable contact allowing the movable contact to turn from the open position to the closed position.

Electrical Contactor System

An electrical contactor system includes a stationary contactor having a stationary contact, a moving contactor having a moving contact, a rotating member, a magnetic blow-out arc quenching device including a permanent magnet, and an isolation arc quenching device. The moving contactor is mounted on the rotating member and is rotatable between a connected position and a disconnected position. The moving contact is in electrical contact with the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the connected position, the moving contact is separated from the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the disconnected position. The permanent magnet is statically disposed in a vicinity of the stationary contactor for elongating an arc between the stationary contact and the moving contact by an electromagnetic force so as to extinguish the arc. The isolation arc quenching device pushes the arc toward the permanent magnet so as to force the arc to move to a vicinity of the permanent magnet.
