The present invention is related to a switching device having a contactor and an actuator. The contactor has at least a first contactor member and a second contactor member. The actuator is configured to actuate the contactor. At least one of the contactor members has a varying or variable thickness along its length such that the at least one of the contactor members has a relatively thick portion and a relatively thin portion.

A centrifugal switch for a motor of a clothes dryer is provided. The end of a bracket and the end of a fixed contact piece are arranged in alignment and each has a raised contact. An upper limit piece slot is provided above the contact of the bracket inside the housing. The aligned ends of the bracket and the fixed contact piece are located above the aligned ends of a starting spring piece, a starting lower piece and a starting upper piece. A pressing head at one end of the rocking lever is located above one side of the fixed contact piece aligned with the bracket. The other end of the rocking lever extends outside the housing. When the centrifuge is not rotating, a movable sleeve of the centrifuge slides into the rocking lever to trigger the centrifugal switch.

According to various embodiments, there is provided a key switch mechanism including: a key button; a plunger attached to the key button and displaceable between a neutral position and an activation position; an elastomeric dome which, when the plunger is in the neutral position, is non-deformed and which, when the plunger is in the activation position, is elastically deformed by the plunger; a conductive spring having a stationary end portion and a moveable end portion, the stationary end portion electrically coupled to a circuit, and the moveable end portion coupled to the elastomeric dome in a manner to be moved when the plunger is displaced towards the activation position, in connection with the corresponding deformation of the elastomeric dome; and an electrical contact electrically coupled to the circuit, wherein, when the plunger is in the neutral position, the electrical contact is arranged at a distance from the moveable end portion, and, when the plunger is in the activation position, the moveable end portion is moved to contact the electrical contact.

An example switching component may comprise: a housing; a moveable carrier a moveable carrier disposed within the housing; at least one integrated moveable contact assembly, the moveable contact assembly comprising a substrate, a set of moveable contacts disposed on a first surface of the substrate and a guiding element surrounding at least a portion of the substrate, wherein at least a portion of the guiding element is configured to abut a surface of the moveable carrier; and a set of stationary contacts adjacent the set of moveable contacts, wherein the set of moveable contacts is configured to move with two degrees of freedom to make contact with the set of stationary contacts in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the moveable carrier.

An example switching component may comprise: a housing; a moveable carrier a moveable carrier disposed within the housing; at least one integrated moveable contact assembly, the moveable contact assembly comprising a substrate, a set of moveable contacts disposed on a first surface of the substrate and a guiding element surrounding at least a portion of the substrate, wherein at least a portion of the guiding element is configured to abut a surface of the moveable carrier; and a set of stationary contacts adjacent the set of moveable contacts, wherein the set of moveable contacts is configured to move with two degrees of freedom to make contact with the set of stationary contacts in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the moveable carrier.

An integrated electromechanical device is described, including a support body, a first and a second fixed contact, a first, second, third, and fourth variable position contact, a first and a second control circuit, and a first, second, third, and fourth signal conductive terminal. A first control conductive terminal is connected to the first control circuit, and a second control conductive terminal is connected to the second control circuit. The first, second, third, and fourth variable position contacts and the first and second fixed contacts are arranged such that, in any positioning configuration of the first and second and third and fourth variable position contacts, the first and second fixed contacts are in a condition of electrical isolation therebetween. Connection end regions of the first and second control conductive terminal are on a first connection plane, and connection end regions of each signal conductive terminal are on a second connection plane.
