Pinch detection switch
A pinch detection switch includes a pressure sensing structure including at least one linear pressure sensing member with multiple conductor wires spaced apart from each other in an inner side of a tubular elastic body, and a tubular cover member to be attached to an end on a forward side in a moving direction of a movable body, and which is formed with a hollow portion which receives the pressure sensing structure. The pressure sensing structure includes a coating member which covers the at least one linear pressure sensing member, and which faces an inner surface of the hollow portion at both its ends in a width direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the movable body and an extending direction of the cover member. A position in the width direction of the at least one linear pressure sensing member in the hollow portion is defined by the coating member.
Lighted handbag assembly
A lighted handbag assembly for facilitating locating of items in the handbag includes a shell that defines an interior space. The shell has a top that is open. A power module is coupled to the shell and is positioned in the interior space. A light is coupled to the shell. The light is positioned to selectively illuminate the interior space.

LATCH BOLT AND STRIKE PLATE WITH ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR
A door latch includes a latch bolt and strike plate capable of transferring electricity therebetween. The latch bolt and strike plate may each include one or more complementary electrical leads such that electrical power and/or electrical signals may flow between the complementary electrical leads, when the electrical leads are in contact with one another.
DOOR LEADING EDGE SENSOR
A door leading edge sensor has: a door leading edge elastic member which is attached to a front end portion of a door in a door closing direction and in which a cavity extending in a direction intersecting with the closing direction is formed therein; and a linear pressure sensitive sensor that is attached to the door leading edge elastic member and is disposed along the extending direction of the cavity. The pressure sensitive sensor has an insulator tube having such an elasticity as to be deformed in accordance with an elastic deformation of the door leading edge elastic member and plural conductive members fixed to an inner surface of the insulator tube. The plural conductive members are in a non-contact state when the insulator tube is not deformed and are in contact with each other when the insulator tube is deformed.
CLOSING-EDGE SAFETY DEVICE WITH PRECHAMBER
A closing edge safety device that triggers a safety response upon contact with an obstacle. The body of the safety device is an elastically deformable profile element that encloses a switch chamber containing a switching strip that carries an electrical current. A prechamber with a switching nub is placed at the leading edge of the safety device, in front of the switch chamber. When an external force is applied to the leading edge of the safety device, the switching nub transmits the force to the switch chamber, which also deforms, causing an interruption in the electrical current on the switching strip, thereby triggering the desired safety response of the closing edge safety device. The closing edge safety device provides improved response to large-area as well as small-area contact with an obstacle and is also suitable for use as a limit switch.
MAGNETIC SWITCH
An improved magnetic switch assembly (16) has a housing (24), a first electrode (40) positioned within the housing (24), a second electrode (42), and a magnetically movable component (48) located within the housing (24) and shiftable between a first position in simultaneous contact with electrodes (40, 42), and a second position out of such simultaneous contact. The electrode (40) has a radially enlarged contact section (44, 58) adjacent the free end thereof which prevents hangup or sticking of component (48) in the first position.
