SECURITY SYSTEM SENSOR AND METHODS
A three-way switch associated with an entry point barrier may provide a security system with information regarding a position of the entry point barrier as it moves along a path of travel. As the entry point barrier moves, the three-way switch may come into proximity with an external object, and the three-way switch may indicate to the security system that a circuit associated with the three-way switch has been closed. The security system may determine that the entry point barrier is in a given position, and one or more security system policies associated with the given position may be activated.
Fastener
A fastener, in particular of a chassis component, has at least one sensor and at least one transmitter of a monitoring device for monitoring at least one mechanical fastening parameter. At least one power supply unit is associated with the transmitter, that the transmitter and the power supply unit are connected to one another by means of a switching contact, that an electrical connection can be closed by means of the switching contact, that the switching contact is designed in such a way that the electrical connection is open when the fastener is installed properly and is closed only when the fastener is released, and that the transmitter is supplied with current and transmits a signal only when the electrical connection of the switching contact is closed.
SAFETY BELT BUCKLE
The present invention relates to a safety belt buckle, and more specifically, to a safety belt buckle which can stably detect whether a driver's safety belt is fastened even when foreign materials or water is introduced into the buckle in the case of being fastened with a tongue of a safety belt.
In the safety belt buckle according to the present invention, a switch that detects whether a tongue of a safety belt is fastened is blocked from coming into direct contact with water or foreign materials, which are introduced from the outside, so as to stably detect fastening or unfastening of the tongue of the safety belt, and thus the safety belt buckle can be stably operated even when mounted in a seat exposed to the outside such as a seat of a forklift or a tractor.
PUSH SWITCH
A holding plate is positioned on an opposite side of a contact member to a surface of a base in an operation direction. When no external force acts on a movable joint, the holding plate places, with the contact member in-between, a load on a movable member in a direction in which a first movable contact and a second movable contact are pressed, respectively, against a first fixture contact and a second fixture contact. The contact member is disposed between the holding plate and a member in the operation direction.
SNAP ACTION SWITCH FOR GENERATING FEEDBACKS
The snap action switch of the present disclosure may include a housing with a plurality of protruding blocks extending inwardly, a plunger disposed on the housing, a first elastic component coupled to the plunger for providing a force against the plunger, a cam located within the housing and being movable by the plunger, a rotor located within the housing and associated with the cam, and a second elastic component coupled to the rotor for providing a force against the rotor. When the cam moves to a first position, the rotor may rotate such that a lower surface of the cam engages with an upper surface of the rotor, and when the cam moves to a second position, the rotor may continue to rotate such that the upper surface of the rotor engages with a lower surface of at least one of the plurality of protruding blocks of the housing.
Swipe gesture detection device and method for determining a swipe gesture performed on a moving surface element of a vehicle component
A swipe gesture detection device may determine a swipe gesture performed on a moving surface element of a vehicle component. The swipe gesture detection device includes a spring, which applies a pre-loading between the moving surface element and a housing element of the vehicle component. The swipe gesture detection device also includes a contactless measuring distance sensor having at least three sensor elements arranged in different positions for detecting a respective distance between the surface element and the housing element.
Access control system and method
An access control system cooperates with a security system. The access control system may be used to control aspects of the security system and the security system may be used to control aspects of a lockset used to lock or unlock an access point (e.g., door). A user can choose to arm or disarm the security system via the access control system and similarly the user may choose to lock or unlock the access point via the security system.

SWITCH FOR ROTATING MACHINE
A switch for a rotating machine is provided with: a casing supporting two or more terminals respectively having contacts so as to hold the contacts exposed on an inside of the casing; a rod having a rod body fitting in the casing axially movably from a first position to a second position; a first spring axially biasing the rod returning back; a carrier housed in the casing and combined with the rod body to follow axial motion of the rod body; a conductor carried by the carrier and exposed on a side face of the carrier toward the terminals and depart from the terminals at the second position; a second spring intervening between the carrier and the conductor to bias the conductor toward the contacts; and a seal intervening between the rod and the casing and fluid-tightly isolating an interior of the casing.
