System for adjusting pressure limits based on depth of the diver(s)
A depth selector or current depth provider for use by a variable speed air system. As a depth selector it is preferably in the form of a rotary switch on the user interface for the air system. The rotary switch can have 3 positions for maximum depth selections, such as, without limitation 15, 25, and 65 feet. Other depth values and number of depth selections provided can be used and all are considered within the scope of the disclosure. A microcontroller of the system reads the voltage from the voltage divider created by the rotary switch selection to determine which position the rotary switch is in. The microcontroller uses this information to set the upper and lower pressure limits for the dive.
Operation stopping switch for an electronic device
An electronic device is provided that includes an electronic component within the electronic device, a kill switch; an access door providing access to the electronic component and the kill switch and a latch for securing access to the electronic component in a closed position and for giving access to the electronic component in an open position. The latch activates the kill switch in the open position, independently of a position of the access door.
On/off switch arrangement for a pivotable display screen in a motor vehicle
An ON/OFF switch arrangement is for a display screen pivotably mounted within a motor vehicle. The arrangement includes a mounting bracket retaining the display screen and pivotably attached to the motor vehicle such that the mounting bracket may be pivoted about an axis. A switch assembly includes a rotor attached to the mounting bracket. A contactor is attached to the rotor. A base is attached to the motor vehicle such that the rotor and the contactor rotate about the axis relative to the base when the mounting bracket is pivoted. The base has two spaced apart electrical contacts. The contactor electrically interconnects the two contacts within a first range of rotational positions of the rotor, and the contactor does not interconnect the two contacts within a second range of rotational positions of the rotor.

Limit switch
A limit switch is provided that is returned to an original position even if a turning angle of a turning lever becomes 90 degrees. In a section perpendicular to a turning shaft, a cam is formed such that a whole contact surface of the cam with a cam receiver is located on a side of the cam receiver with respect to a shaft center of the turning shaft when the external force does not act on the turning lever.
Limit switch
A limit switch includes fixed contacts and a movable contact, the fixed contacts and the movable contact formed from an AuNi metal alloy of no less than 97% Au by weight. The limit switch detects position, change, movement, number of passes, or the like and outputs an on signal or an off signal depending on whether a detection occurred.

Flow switch assembly featuring two-part base assembly with non-metallic upper part and metallic lower part
A flow switch assembly features a two-part base assembly having lower and upper base parts. The lower base part is made from a metallic material, adapted on piping having a fluid flow, and configured with a central orifice to receive a paddle arm that pivots on an axis and responds to fluid flow in the piping. The upper base part is made from a non-metallic material, configured with a corresponding central orifice to receive the paddle arm, and configured with a channel to receive a pivot arm to mount and allow the paddle arm to pivot on the axis to actuate an ON/OFF switch in response to fluid flow. The non-metallic material has a lower coefficient of heat transfer than the metallic material to reduce condensation build-up in the flow switch assembly when the flow switch assembly is used in cold applications and exposed to temperatures below freezing.
Switch
A switch has a rotary shaft that rotates in response to an external force, a cam provided on the rotary shaft and including a cam action section, wherein the cam rotates in response to the rotation of the rotary shaft, a displacement member including a cam support section that contacts the cam action section, wherein the displacement member is displaced in response to the cam support section being pressed by the cam action section rotating, and a switch module that performs an on-off action in response to the displacement of the displacement member. The cam action section is made of a metal. The cam support section is made of a resin softer than the cam action section.
