Operation mechanism for electronic device

An operation mechanism is provided, including a fixed ring and a rotating assembly, wherein the rotating assembly is rotatably connected to the fixed ring. The rotating assembly includes a rotating ring and a movable portion. The rotating ring connects to the fixed ring. The rotating ring and the movable portion are fixed to each other. The movable portion is disposed on a surface of the fixed ring and configured to contact a circuit board disposed on the surface. When the rotating assembly is rotated from a first position to a second position relative to the fixed ring, the movable portion moves from a first contact position to a second contact position relative to the circuit board.

A rotary switch with a knob having an axis of rotation and moveable to a plurality of angular positions and an elongated member extending in a longitudinal direction relative to the axis of the knob. A conductive member is positioned near a plurality of angularly displaced traces formed on a Printed Circuit Board. When the knob is rotated, the rotation is translated to longitudinal movement of the conductive member, which contacts at least one trace to close a circuit.

Ignition lock

An ignition lock for a motor vehicle includes a locking cylinder, which in the presence of a suitable key can be shifted along a path including a punctual directional change between a driving position and a stationary position. In the driving position the ignition lock allows operation of an engine of the motor vehicle. In the stationary position operation of the engine is blocked. An indicating device is controlled by a switch operable by the locking cylinder at the point of directional change.

In an inhibiter switch, a detent plate may be rotated on one side around a rotational shaft to be assembled in a pole board, and a stopper may be provided in the pole board to define a rotation range of the detent plate on the one side. An interference portion may be provided on a movement track of a movable contact piece when the detent plate rotates around the rotational shaft, wherein the interference portion may interfere with the movable contact piece to become resistance to rotation of the detent plate to the other side around the rotational shaft.

The invention relates to an electric switch for electric devices. A changeover device is additionally provided for changing the direction of rotation of the electric motor. This changeover device includes a position sensor which is able to be operated from outside and features a haptic element.

Rotary input device

A connection state (conduction/non-conduction) between a slide electrode and a first electrode pattern is switched with a first rotation angle as a boundary, and the switching of the connection state is generated by switching a contact state (contact/non-contact) between a first contact and a first electrode pattern. A connection state between a slide electrode and a second electrode pattern is switched with a third rotation angle as a boundary, and the switching of the connection state is generated by switching a contact state between a first contact and a second electrode pattern. That is, the contact state between the first contact farther away from a rotation center than the second contact and the electrode pattern defines a connection state between the slide electrode and an electrode pattern.

Rotary switch

Differing from the conventional rotary switches, a rotary switch provided by the present invention is design to perform bidirectional rotation by double shaft, such that this rotary switch has the maximum switching levels of 32. Particularly, two retaining members having a spring accommodating trough are adopted for accommodating the compression springs; therefore, when switching the rotary switch from one switching level to another one switching level, each the retaining member does ensured to fully embed into one of the rotary grooves formed around the disk side edge of the corresponding rotary disks; the reason is that the compression springs suffer to pressing force would not bend during switching the novel rotary switch, such that the functions of the electric product can be switch smoothly and completely.

A switch comprising a body case, a movable board that is movably disposed in the body case and a movable contact point disposed in the movable board is disclosed. A fixed contact point is provided in the body case with a lubricating agent applied thereto. The movable contact point makes pressure-contact with the fixed contact point, and is connected and disconnected from the fixed contact point corresponding to a position of the movable contact point changing by moving the movable board. Grooves are formed in a contact portion of the movable contact point with the fixed contact point to be arranged along the movement direction of the movable contact point.
