Lever switch mounted on a vehicle

A lever switch which is capable of preventing loud operating noise from being generated during stepwise operation of an operating lever. The lever switch has a case, a click feeling generator placed inside the case, and a switch moving body placed inside the case and rotated with respect to the case by operating the operating lever. The click feeling generator has trough portions that abut against a convex portion of the switch moving body. Click feelings are given by the convex portion of the switch moving body sequentially abutting against the trough portions in response to stepwise operations of the operating lever. The convex portion of the switch moving body is urged toward the click feeling generator. The click feeling generator and the case are placed away from each other with a space left between them in a direction in which the first case is urged.

The housing that houses the switch unit has an opening via which the switch unit and the operating knob face each other. The housing has a water prevention wall installed in a standing manner to surround the opening. The operating knob has a box-shaped base member with one end thereof opened. An additional member with at least one insertion portion which is inserted into a through hole of the base member is mounted on the base member. The insertion portion extends to cross a standing direction of the water prevention wall, and as seen in the standing direction, the insertion portion and the opening are located away from each other.

Toggle switch

A toggle switch system for a vehicle control panel includes a first electrical switch, a toggle body, and a rocker arm. The first electrical switch is configured to activate a first vehicle function. The toggle body has a proximal end and a distal end. The toggle body is configured to pivot along an axis that is between the proximal and distal ends. The toggle has upper and lower surfaces that define a slot that extends inward from the distal end. The rocker arm has a protrusion that extends into the slot between the upper and lower surfaces. The rocker arm also has a heel that is configured to rotate, engage, and activate the first electrical switch in response to the toggle body moving in a first direction to engage the protrusion with the toggle body within the slot.

A switch device includes a first rubber dome, a second rubber dome, and a slider disposed on the first rubber dome and the second rubber dome. The slider presses the upper surface of the first rubber dome, causing deformation of the first rubber dome when the slider is moved toward the first and second rubber domes, and presses the upper surface of the second rubber dome, causing deformation of the second rubber dome when the slider is further moved toward the first and second rubber domes in a state in which the first rubber dome is subjected to the deformation. A thick portion is formed on each side of the second rubber dome so as to increase the thickness on the each side of the second rubber dome. Each side of the second rubber dome is in a direction in which the first and second rubber domes are aligned.

Problem To be capable of specifying an operation of a knob. Solution A switch 1 includes an operation detecting portion 7 which detects an operation of the knob 5. The operation detecting portion 7 includes a movable member 6 which displaces in association with the operation of the knob 5, a through hole 62a which penetrates through a light shielding portion 62 of the movable member 6 in a thickness direction thereof, one optical source 15 which is provided on one side of the movable member 6 in the thickness direction, a light guiding path 9A which is provided on the other side of the movable member 6 in the thickness direction, and two light receiving elements 10A, 10A which are attached to the light guiding path 9A. The light guiding path 9A is arranged in a position of being capable of receiving light emitted from the optical source 15 through the through hole 62a when the movable member 6 is arranged in a predetermined position by the operation of the knob 5.

Rocker switch device

A rocker switch device includes an operation knob with a close bottom cylindrical shape configured to be operated, a body including a contact point configured such that current is interruptible by the operation knob and a support portion that projects toward an inside of the operation knob and supports the operation knob in a manner allowing for rocking, and a projection portion that projects from a portion of a surface of the support portion of the body that opposes the operation knob or a portion of a surface of the operation knob that opposes the body toward an opposing member.

Vehicle Door Switch Actuating Apparatus with a Large Actuating Surface
20240062973 · 2024-02-22 ·

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle door switch actuating apparatus (100). The apparatus includes an actuating element (104) having an actuating surface (110), a mechanical switch (112), and a mechanism for transferring a compressive force applied by a user to the actuating surface (110) onto the mechanical switch (112) in order to flip the mechanical switch (112). The mechanism includes: a first component (102) on which the mechanical switch (112) is fixed at least in the switching direction; and a lever (120) pivotally supported about a pivot axis (124) relative to the first component (102) or the first component group and connected to the actuating element (104) via a first bearing on a first side (111) of the actuating surface (110). The actuating element (104) is supported on the first component (102) or the first component group via a second bearing on a second side (113) of the actuating surface (110). The actuating element (104) is flexibly configured such that, when manual pressure is applied to the actuating surface (110), it flexibly bends, thereby causing a change in the distance between the first bearing and the second bearing, in particular a shortening or lengthening of the distance, and thus causes the lever to pivot about the pivot axis (124). The mechanical switch (112) is arranged such that, by pivoting the lever, the mechanical switch (112) is flipped. The lever (120) extends substantially parallel to the first side (111) of the actuating surface (110).
