A medium voltage circuit breaker for the use in high pressure environments has a vacuum interrupter with a fixed contact side and a movable contract side with a movable rod, and a drive in pressure tight insulating housing, electrical terminals to the vacuum interrupter integrated into the pressure housing, and a further pressure tight housing attached pressure tightly at the insulating housing at the movable contact side of the vacuum interrupter with the movable rod, and that the inner volume of the insulating pressure tight housing gastightly separated from the inner volume of the further pressure tight housing by a bellow, through which the movable rod is guided through and mechanically coupled to a drive, which is arranged inside the further housing.

Gas circuit breaker

The gas circuit breaker is made up of a fixed contact, a movable contact, a sealed tank having the fixed contact and the movable contact therein, an operating mechanism for driving the movable contact, and a mechanism unit for housing a link mechanism for connecting the operating mechanism with the movable contact. The operating mechanism is made up of an opening spring and a closing spring, cases for covering respective peripheries of those elastic bodies, a control mechanism for holding and freeing the driving force of the elastic body, and a link mechanism for conveying the driving force of the elastic body to the movable contact. The opening spring is laterally disposed in the axial direction between the link mechanism and the control mechanism. An integral flange is provided on an opening spring case and a closing spring case.

IMPROVED COMPRESSION SEALING GASKET AND SEALING SYSTEM

A compression sealing gasket having a main body of general planar extension, or extending in a plane, including an inner side and an outer side, and end faces, which delimit the gasket along an axis perpendicular to the plane, and connect the inner side and the outer side, made of an elastomer material, the main body having a first extension, along the axis, at least one of the inner side and the outer side being provided with a lip which has a second extension, along the axis perpendicular to the plane, less than the first extension.

HIGH VOLTAGE CIRCUIT-BREAKER

The disclosed circuit-breaker for high-voltage applications includes at least one making and breaking unit having a first contact and a second contact for forming an electrically conductive connection, wherein at least one of the contacts is movable along an axially extending switching axis of the circuit-breaker between a closed position and an open position, and a first contact housing having a guiding passage surrounding and forming with the first contact a circumferential gap, which first contact housing has at least one recess surrounding the first contact, which at least one recess is open towards the first contact by means of a recess opening facing the first contact, wherein an extension of the recess opening along the switching axis is shorter than an extension of the at least one recess along the switching axis and/or two or more the recesses are arranged axially adjacent to one another.
