A module for the interconnection between an electrical circuit breaker and an electrical contactor includes a housing and multiple high-power electrical conductors that are housed inside the housing, each of the high-power electrical conductors being suitable for electrically connecting an electrical output of a circuit breaker to an electrical input of a contactor, in order to allow a supply electric current to flow from the circuit breaker to the contactor. This interconnection module additionally includes a voltage sensor, which sensor is suitable for detecting the presence of a voltage between at least two of the high-power electrical conductors.

The present application provides a residual-current protection device and a tripper. The residual-current protection device comprises: a flux transformer receiving a residual-current signal; a tripping output element outputting ON/OFF signals; an energy storage mechanism adapted to switch between an energy storage state and an energy release state, the energy storage mechanism having a locking unit that locks the energy storage mechanism in the energy storage state; and a transmission mechanism braked by the flux transformer, which drives the tripping output element to move and drives state of the energy storage mechanism to switch; the transmission mechanism comprising: a first rack cooperating with the locking unit, a second rack driving the tripping output element, and a reduction gear with a big gear engaged with the first rack and a small gear engaged with the second rack. By means of the gear rack transmission mechanism of the residual-current protection device, reduction transmission can be effected, driving force needed by energy storage may be reduced, and thus design requirements as high transmission efficiency, easy processing and assembly as well as low costs can be satisfied.

A miniature circuit breaker, a control method thereof, and a control system thereof, where the miniature circuit breaker includes a circuit breaker body and a current detection unit. After a current that flows from one end of the circuit breaker body flows through the current detection unit, the current flows into another end of the circuit breaker body. The current detection unit includes a voltage drop detection assembly and a signal output terminal. The voltage drop detection assembly includes a first voltage sampling point and a second voltage sampling point, where the first voltage sampling point and the second voltage sampling point are coupled to the signal output terminal.

The method includes sending a second command to the solid-state circuit breaker to turn on the one or more semiconductors in response to the first set of operational parameters being equal to or less than the first set of thresholds. The method includes receiving a second set of operational parameters that correspond to one or more electrical properties associated with an operation of the solid-state circuit breaker coupled to a load device and generating a baseline profile representative of the first set of operational parameters and the second operational parameters.

A method of operating an automatic transfer switch to switch an electrical load from one power source to another power source includes measuring one or more characteristics of a switching circuit in the automatic transfer switch. A value of one or more timing variables is determined based on the measured characteristics of the switching circuit. The switching circuit is operated to close relays in the automatic transfer switch. The timing of closing of the relays is based on the value of the timing variables.

The processor is configured to determine whether a characteristic of said confirmation signal is present in said output signal and to control the trip circuit based on said determination.

A communications and processing module is provided. The communications and processing module is electrically coupleable to a circuit breaker to provide the circuit breaker with additional capabilities. The communications and processing module includes a housing, at least one electrical contact positioned in the housing, an output lug positioned in the housing, wherein an electrical path is defined between the at least one electrical contact and the output lug, at least one sensor positioned in the housing and operable to sense at least one operating condition of the circuit breaker, and at least one communications interface positioned in the housing and communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor, the communications interface operable to receive data from the at least one sensor that is indicative of the at least one sensed operating condition to facilitate exporting the received data to a remote computing device.
