SINGLE PHASE UNDERGROUND FUSED TAP
20200058453 · 2020-02-20 ·

A fused tap for an elbow connector that properly insulates and houses an interruption device or fuse to provide protection on underground distribution power lines. The interruption device is replaceable without the need of replacing the entire assembly. The fused tap provides flexibility in installation for existing and new underground distribution lines and/or feeders.

High voltage, reinforced in-line fuse assembly, systems, and methods of manufacture

Fuse assemblies, systems and methods of manufacture include reinforcement materials and arc absorbent materials to provide overcurrent protection for 1500 VDC power systems without enlarging the body of the fuse.

Photovoltaic in line fuse connector assembly having an integral fuse

DRAW-OUT CURRENT LIMITING FUSE
20190371559 · 2019-12-05 ·

A current-limiting fuse for an electronic apparatus, such as, for example, a transformer. The fuse can be withdrawable under a liquid insulating medium, such as oil, and is capable of being replaceable in the field. The fuse can include a fuse element that is encased within an electrically insulative sheath. Additionally, a plurality of contact blades can extend from a lower portion of the fuse and be securely engaged with contact clips that are in electrical communication with one or more components of the electronic apparatus. The contact blades can be positioned within a dielectric insulating medium while a reminder of the fuse between the contact blades and the enclosure can be positioned within an air gap. Further, the contact blades can accommodate seating of the fuse within the enclosure and/or an associated canister.

FUSE WITH STONE SAND MATRIX REINFORCEMENT

An electrical fuse includes a housing, first and second terminal assemblies coupled to the housing, and at least one fuse element assembly extending internally in the housing and coupled between the first and second terminal assemblies. A filler surrounds the at least one fuse element assembly, and the filler includes sodium silicate sand and at least one reinforcing structure suspended within the filler.

High-current fuse with endbell assembly

A fuse including a fuse body defining an inner cavity and having at least one fuse body aperture formed therethrough, a fuse element including a first terminal and a second terminal, a first endbell and a second endbell coupled to the fuse element, the first endbell having at least two grooves formed in a surface thereof and having a first O-ring seal disposed in at least one of the grooves, the second endbell having at least two grooves formed in a surface thereof and having a second O-ring seal disposed in at least one of the grooves, an adhesive securing the first and second endbells to the fuse body, an arc quenching material disposed within the inner cavity and contacting at least a portion of the fuse element, and end caps coupled to the fuse body, the end caps sealing a portion of the fuse element within the fuse body.
