20200251298 · 2020-08-06 ·

An overcurrent protection device for distributing power to a component. A cartridge may removeably receiving a TPA fuse. The cartridge may include a power input terminal and a power output terminal. When the cartridge is removeably received by a power distribution panel the power input terminal may directly couple to a power input connection of the power distribution panel and the power output terminal may directly couple to a power output connection of the power distribution panel. The directly coupled power input terminal and power output terminal being void of an intermediate busbar arranged between the cartridge and the power distribution panel.

Fault detection system for an agricultural machine
10726647 · 2020-07-28 · ·

A fault detection system for an agricultural machine is configured to display to an operator a virtual layout of fuses and/or relays for the machine in an arrangement corresponding to an actual/physical layout of the fuses and/or relays on the machine. The system can monitor for fault conditions of the fuses and/or relays, and display a location of a fuse or relay corresponding to a physical location of where the faulty fuse or relay can be found from among other fuses and/or relays. A faulty fuse and/or relay can be highlighted, such as by changing a color of the fuse and/or relay, for rapid identification. The system can also display a list providing descriptions for the fuses and/or relays to assist with fault resolution.

A block fuse including a body and a plurality of fuses coupled to the body is described herein. The block fuse also includes a plurality of electrical connectors extending from the body in a first direction and electrically coupled to the plurality of fuses, and at least one block fuse removal tab extending from the body in a second direction, opposite to the first direction.

LOW PROFILE INTEGRATED FUSE MODULE

A fuse module including a mounting block formed of an electrically insulating material, the mounting block having a rear wall extending from a base, a fuse plate including an electrically conductive bus bar disposed adjacent a rear surface of the rear wall, a fusible element electrically connected to the bus bar and disposed adjacent a front surface of the rear wall, and a fuse terminal electrically connected to the fusible element and extending onto a top of the base. The fuse module may further include an electrically conductive terminal post extending from the top of the base through the fuse terminal for facilitating connection to an electrical component.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX

Provided is an electrical connection box into which a greater number of fuses can be inserted without increasing its size. An electrical connection box for a vehicle includes: an insertion housing into which multiple fuses are to be inserted through an open port on one side; multiple fuse terminals for connecting the fuses in the insertion housing to a substrate; a plate-shaped holding member that opposes the insertion housing from a side opposite to the one side of the insertion housing, and holds the multiple fuse terminals; and a case member that includes a flat plate portion for covering the multiple fuse terminals and has a notch that is formed in the covering portion, the holding member being arranged inside of the notch.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX

Provided is an electrical connection box according to which it is possible to easily handle a substrate and a fuse module. An electrical connection box for a vehicle includes: an insertion housing into which a plurality of fuses are to be inserted; a plurality of fuse terminals each having one end portion inserted into a surface of the insertion housing, the fuse terminals connecting the fuses to a substrate; and a holding member that is arranged opposing the one surface of the insertion housing and holds the fuse terminals. The holding member includes a gripping portion provided on a side opposite to the insertion housing, and the gripping portion has a finger placement portion used for gripping.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX

Provided is an electrical connection box in which a greater number of fuses can be inserted while suppressing an increase in size. An electrical connection box for a vehicle includes: an insertion housing that has a rectangular open port on one side and in which a plurality of rectangular insertion holes into which fuses are to be respectively inserted are provided facing the open port; a first insertion hole row in which a plurality of the insertion holes are provided side by side in a lengthwise direction of the open port, with long sides of the insertion holes adjacent to each other; and a second insertion hole row in which a plurality of the insertion holes are provided side by side in the lengthwise direction of the open port, with short sides of the insertion holes adjacent to each other.

FUSE AND ON-VEHICLE DEVICE

An on-vehicle device is provided with a fuse. A plurality of terminals each have a long- plate shape and are aligned with each other. A fusible portion is connected to two of the plurality of terminals. A housing covers a part of the plurality of terminals and the fusible portion and has heat resistance equal to or higher than 300 degrees. Current flows through the fusible portion. The fusible portion is blown out in the case where the temperature of the fusible portion exceeds a predetermined temperature.
