In a production facility for coating ice cream products a plurality of carriers are used for transport of the ice cream products from the supply station to a coating station where coating, for example chocolate, is applied to the product. The production facility includes weight equipment configured for automatically weighing the ice cream products before and after application of the coating, which is used in a feedback loop for adjusting the coating parameters, for example chocolate temperature.

The disclosure extends to systems and devices for a topping dispenser. The topping dispenser may include a dispenser framework having a plurality of spouts mounted thereto configured to dispense a topping and one or more topping reservoirs. The plurality of spouts may include a first spout in fluid communication with a topping reservoir via a first tube that connects to a fitting of the first spout. The plurality of spouts may include a second spout in fluid communication with a topping reservoir via a second tube that connects to a fitting of the second spout. The fitting of the first spout and the fitting of the second spout may be offset from each other within the dispenser framework such that the fittings and tubes do not interfere with each other.

The present invention relates to an ice cream scoop or scoop for another food of semisolid consistency, comprising a bowl or spatula and a handle carrying said bowl or spatula, said scoop being adapted to make a portion in said bowl or spatula, preferably a spherical portion, of said ice cream or other food, when said bowl or spatula is moved through a bulk of said ice cream or other food. According to the invention, the scoop comprises dispensing means of at least one food sauce suitable for dispensing said food sauce on and/or within said ice cream or other food portion during the formation of said ice cream or other food portion in said bowl or spatula.

The present invention provides an apparatus for coating an edible receptacle the apparatus comprising a nozzle for applying a fat-based coating material to the internal surface of the edible receptacle and a gas-dosing element with an external surface shape corresponding to the internal shape of the edible receptacle wherein the gas dosing element has at least one aperture suitable for the introduction of cooled gas into the edible receptacle. The invention also provides a process for manufacturing a coated edible receptacle for a frozen confection comprising the steps of: providing an edible receptacle; at least partially coating the internal surface of the edible receptacle by spraying a fat-based coating onto the internal surface of the edible receptacle; and introducing a gas-dosing element into the edible receptacle, wherein the gas-dosing element has an external surface shape corresponding to the internal shape of the edible receptacle and wherein cooled gas is introduced into the edible receptacle through the gas-dosing element and wherein the gas dosing element does not come into contact with the fat-based coating.

One method includes setting a temperature of an interior surface of a tumbler below a desired temperature for an ice structure loaded into the tumbler; executing a sauce coating cycle for coating the ice structure with a sauce; executing a freeze cycle after the sauce coating cycle, by spraying nitrogen on the ice structure; alternating between the sauce coating cycle and the freeze cycle for applying sauce on the ice structure; and executing a water cycle for applying water to the ice structure coated with the sauce to produce a frozen cocktail ice structure.

An apparatus has a kiosk for selling frozen confections such as shaved ice or ice cream. The apparatus includes a liquid topping dispenser assembly having liquid dispensing faucets that are operable by a customer outside the kiosk to dispense liquid toppings onto the frozen confection. The liquid topping dispenser assembly is mounted onto a sidewall of the kiosk such that an open space is formed. A gasket assembly is positioned within the open space.
