GLASS PALLET FOR SPUTTERING SYSTEMS
Pallets for transporting one or more glass substrates in a substantially vertical orientation through a sputtering system. In some cases, a pallet comprising a frame with an aperture and an adjustable grid array within the aperture. The adjustable grid array is configurable to hold a plurality of glass substrates of different shapes and/or sizes. In one case, the adjustable grid array comprises a system of vertical and horizontal support bars, wherein the vertical support bars configured to both support the plurality of glass substrates at their vertical edges, wherein the horizontal support bars are configured to support the plurality of glass substrates at their horizontal edges, wherein the ends of the horizontal support bars are slideably engaged with the vertical support bars.
System for glass sheet semiconductor coating and resultant product
A glass sheet semiconductor deposition system (20) for coating semiconductor material on glass sheets is performed by conveying the glass sheets vertically suspended at upper extremities thereof by a pair of conveyors (38) through a housing (22) including a vacuum chamber (24). The glass sheets are conveyed on shuttles (42) through an entry load station (26) into the housing vacuum chamber (24), through a heating station (30) and at least one semiconductor deposition station (32, 34) in the housing (22), and to a cooling station (36) prior to exiting of the system through an exit load lock station (28). The semiconductor deposition station construction includes a deposition module (102) and a radiant heater (104) between which the vertical glass sheets are conveyed for the semiconductor deposition.
TRANSPORT DEVICE
A transport device is capable of reliably determining a presence or absence of a lid provided on a container and/or determining detachment of the lid, with a simple configuration. The transport device transports a container that includes a lid on a side surface. The transport device includes a lid fall preventive member disposed so as to face an upper end of the lid of the container located in a transport position, and a lid detector that is disposed in the lid fall preventive member and detects the presence or absence of the upper end of the lid.
TURN TABLE TRANSPORT CARRIAGE
A turn table transport carriage configured to carry a turn table removed from a polishing apparatus or turn table which is to be disposed to the polishing apparatus, turn table transport carriage including a turn table holding section configured to hold the turn table, support base which supports the turn table holding section from a lower side, elevating mechanism which moves up and down the turn table holding section, and inclination mechanism which inclines the turn table holding section holding the turn table, the turn table transport carriage being characterized by enabling carrying the turn table in a state where the turn table holding section holding the turn table is inclined by the inclination mechanism. Consequently, there is provided the turn table transport carriage which has a narrow width at the time of carrying the turn table and can reduce a width of a passage for carrying the turntable.
SUBSTRATE PROCESSING APPARATUS
A transfer path is provided which is extended so as to be passed on a lateral side of a processing portion that processes a substrate. The substrate transferred between a container held by a holding unit and the processing portion passes through the transfer path. A first transfer robot carries the substrate into and out of the container held by the holding unit, and accesses a reception/delivery region arranged within the transfer path. A second transfer robot receives and delivers the substrate from and to the first transfer robot in the reception/delivery region, and carries the substrate into and out of the processing portion. A second transfer robot raising/lowering unit which raises and lowers the second transfer robot is arranged within the transfer path. The reception/delivery region and the second transfer robot raising/lowering unit are located between the first transfer robot and the second transfer robot.

To stably convey a substrate (workpiece) while suppressing the workpiece from bending. A treatment device is provided. This treatment device includes: a conveying part that conveys a workpiece in a state where a flat surface of the workpiece is inclined around a conveying directional axis relative to a horizontal plane; and a treatment part in which at least one of polishing and cleaning is performed on the flat surface of the workpiece, wherein the conveying part has a drive part configured to be brought into physical contact with an end part of the workpiece and apply force in a conveying direction to the workpiece, a first Bernoulli chuck arranged to face the flat surface of the workpiece, and a second Bernoulli chuck arranged to face an end face of an opposite end part to the end part of the workpiece.

There is provided a substrate processing apparatus including: a transfer region communicating with a process chamber where substrates are processed; a first shelf region installed above the transfer region and having a first shelf storing transfer vessels accommodating the substrates; a second shelf region installed below a stage part where the vessels to be transferred to and from an external device are loaded, and having a second shelf stacking and storing the transfer vessels; and a transfer vessel transfer robot installed inside a housing accommodating the transfer region, the first shelf region and the second shelf region and transferring the vessels to and from the stage part, the first shelf, the second shelf, and the transfer region. The transfer vessel transfer robot includes: a main body base part; a first table part; a first driving part; a second table part; a second driving part; and a vessel support part.
CONTACTLESS VERTICAL TRANSFER DEVICE USING LINEAR MOTOR
Provided is a contactless vertical transfer device using a linear motor. The contactless vertical transfer device using a linear motor includes: a transfer unit for picking up an article; and a linear motor located on a side portion of the transfer unit to move the transfer unit, wherein the linear motor comprises at least one driving unit that is located on a side portion of the transfer unit and provided with a mover which a coil is wound; and a rail unit that is located apart from the mover by a predetermined distance in a lateral direction and provided with a plurality of magnet portions disposed in a transfer direction of the transfer unit. The transfer unit is moved along the rail unit by a thrust force of the mover and the magnet portion.
CMP WAFER CLEANING EQUIPMENT, WAFER TRANSFER ROBOT AND WAFER FLIPPING METHOD
Disclosed are a CMP wafer cleaning apparatus, and a wafer transfer manipulator and a wafer overturn method for same. The wafer transfer manipulator includes: a transverse transfer shaft, with same only being located at a side of a cleaning unit; a transverse transfer carriage provided on the transverse transfer shaft, and capable of transversely moving along the transverse transfer shaft; a first vertical lifting shaft provided on the transverse transfer carriage, and capable of vertically moving on the transverse transfer carriage; a rotary table provided on the first vertical lifting shaft; and a first claw clamping arm connected to the rotary table, and driven by the rotary table to move in a rotational manner. The CMP wafer cleaning apparatus is provided, and when the CMP wafer cleaning apparatus fails, safe storage of a polished wafer can be realized.

A magnetic levitation system for transporting a carrier is described. The magnetic levitation system includes a base defining a transportation track, a carrier movable relative to the base along the transportation track, and a plurality of active magnetic bearings provided at the base and configured to face a guided structure of the carrier. The guided structure includes a first guided zone and a second guided zone configured to interact with the plurality of active magnetic bearings and a recessed zone. The recessed zone is arranged between the first guided zone and the second guided zone in a transport direction of the carrier and is recessed with respect to the first guided zone and the second guided zone.
