The pouched product can include a water-permeable fabric pouch formed so as to define a cavity therein, and a composition contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the composition including one or more releasable components that are released from the composition under mouth conditions and that are capable of movement through the water-permeable fabric pouch. The composition includes nicotine and at least one particulate non-tobacco material. The pouched product also includes at least one capsule contained within the cavity of the water-permeable fabric pouch, the capsule having a capsule wall surrounding an inner payload comprising at least one botanical.

Delivery of additives in a smoking article is provided through thermally degradable, robust immobilized additive inserts. Additives can be immobilized in an elongated device or an insert, wherein the elongated device or the insert is sufficiently robust to allow the elongated device or the insert to be manually or machine inserted into a smoking article while maintaining the structure of the elongated device or the insert. By providing additives in the form of thermally degradable immobilized additive inserts, migration and/or loss of the additives in a smoking article prior to smoking can be reduced.

The present disclosure relates to compositions that are useful in the delivery of various materials. The internal phase specifically can be a hydrophilic material, and the external phase specifically can be a hydrophobic material. The materials are combined so that the internal phase is substantially encapsulated by the external phase such that release can be controlled in relation to osmotic pressure differentials. Methods for producing a nontobacco cannabis based moist snuff composition are also provided. The aerosol generation device according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a housing which forms an accommodation space for accommodating an aerosol-generating article, and a heater part configured to heat the aerosol-generating article accommodated in the accommodation space to generate an aerosol. Here, the aerosol-generating article may include an aerosol-forming substrate part and an additive accommodation part in which an additive is accommodated, and the heater part may include a user control-type heater configured to heat the additive accommodation part. The user control-type heater may heat the additive accommodation part on the basis of a user input to provide a customized smoking experience according to a user's preferences.
