An insert system for use with a smokable (e.g., such as a pre-rolled or empty cone) including an internal partition for securing one or more flavor releasing mechanisms (e.g., flavored “click balls”) within a flavor mechanism holder and for use with a smokable item (e.g., a pre-roll cone, an empty cone, a pre-rolled or hand-rolled cigarette, etc.) is provided. The insert system is formed by rolling a section of suitable material to form an elongate member with an internal volume with a longitudinal partition. The longitudinal partition forms a compartment to receive and secure a flavor releasing mechanism held within a tubular holder. The insert system may then be coupled with a smokable to serve as the smokable's mouthpiece.

AN ARTICLE FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM

An article for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system, the article comprising an aerosol generating material and a mouthpiece downstream of the aerosol generating material, wherein the mouthpiece comprises a body of material in the form of a cylinder having a longitudinal axis and a capsule embedded within the body of material such that the capsule is surrounded on all sides by the material forming the body, the capsule having a shell encapsulating a liquid aerosol modifying agent, and wherein the largest cross sectional area of the capsule measured perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis is less than 28% of the cross sectional area of the body of material measured perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis. There is also provided a system including the article and a non-combustible aerosol provision device for heating the aerosol generating material of the article.

AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM

A non-combustible aerosol provision system is described including an article (1) having an aerosol generating material (3) and a mouthpiece (2) downstream of the aerosol generating material, wherein the aerosol generating material provides an aerosol when heated and the mouthpiece comprises a capsule (11) and the part of the mouthpiece in which the capsule is located reaches a temperature of between 58 and 70 degrees Centigrade during use of the system to generate an aerosol. The burst strength of the capsule when located within the mouthpiece and prior to heating of the aerosol generating material can be between 1500 and 4000 grams force and the burst strength of the capsule within 30 seconds of use of the system to generate an aerosol can be between 1000 and 4000 grams force.

An aromatic bead feeder for cigarette filters, comprising a conical part (1) and a push rod (2) directly or indirectly connected with the conical part. The conical part includes a front cone part (11) and a rear extension part (12). The conical part and the push rod are indirectly connected into a whole through a connection part and are respectively located at two ends of the connection part or located at one end of the connection part. The connection part is an accommodating part (4) provided with an accommodating cavity and an aromatic bead outlet (41), and a cover (42) capable of being opened or closed is arranged at the aromatic bead outlet (41). A smoke generation product and a manufacturing method therefor, which relate to the technical field of tobaccos. The smoke generation product comprises a filter tip base body, a second connecting component, and an aroma generation portion. The filter tip base body comprises a first connecting component, and comprises a cooling portion and a filtering portion that are sequentially disposed in a smoking direction. The filtering portion and the cooling portion are connected by means of the first connecting component. A filtering passage and a cooling passage are in mutual communication. The aroma generation portion is connected to the filter tip base body by means of the second connecting portion, and the aroma generation portion is configured to release smoke by means of heating and make the smoke enter the cooling passage.

A method of preparing an additive assembly for insertion into tobacco industry product filter tow, comprising: providing a web comprising an array of discrete portions of additive disposed in or on the web, the array comprising columns of at least two discrete portions of additive across a width of the web; and forming a chain of discrete portions of additive in the web. The chain comprises: connecting portions that connect adjacent discrete portions of additive in a column of the array; and connecting portions that are configured to be nonlinear to connect discrete portions of additive in respective adjacent columns of the array.

Cigarettes and filter subassemblies with squeezable flavor capsule and methods of manufacture

Improved delivery of additive materials to cigarettes is provided through the use of one or more capsules containing additive materials, such as flavor components, in the filter section of a cigarette. The capsule or capsules are provided between first and second absorbent members and the capsules are subjected to an external force, such as squeezing, by a smoker prior to or during smoking of the cigarette in order to release at least a portion of the additive material and expose the additive material to mainstream smoke passing through the filter. The capsules provide a barrier between the additive materials and other cigarettes components, such as sorbents or filter materials, in order to reduce additive material migration into the other cigarette components prior to desired use. An outer cover which is impermeable to the fluid within the capsules is provided about the capsule or capsules and the first and second absorbent members.
