An apparel system comprises an article of apparel and an attachment element positionable between first and second layers of the article of apparel. The attachment element may be releasably fastened to the article of apparel. The attachment element may comprise a polymer foam material, a fluid- or gas-filled chamber, or a plate, for example.

A sleeve for wear on a body limb includes a sleeve body and a strap body. The strap body includes straps with fasteners at or near the ends of the straps for attachment to the sleeve body. An arm sleeve includes a thumb opening connected to a tension strap that extends along the length of the sleeve. The arm sleeve is configured to apply a twisting force when the opening is placed on the thumb. An arm and shoulder sleeve includes a lower sleeve, and upper arm cover and straps extending from an elbow band to extend from the upper arm cover for attachment to another garment.

Specific implementations of an exercise pad device may include: a pad portion including a well, wherein the well may be substantially centered in the pad portion, a protective layer coupled to the pad portion, and a cover coupled to and enclosing the pad portion and the protective layer, wherein the well may be configured to reduce the localized pressure felt by a user when a barbell is placed over the pad while the user performs a hip thrust lift using the barbell.

The Top section, which supports the breast and chest area, is constructed with fabric that has a plurality of densities with integrated elasticity, such as LYCRA®, spandex, or knit fabric. The Side Panels have the same fabric as the Top section such as LYCRA®, spandex, or knit fabric, and provides extra support, ease of ingress and egress of the garment, room for the body to decrease or expand, extra breathability so that the body does not overheat, extra comfort and flexibility, provides moisture wicking and quick drying support, and extends from the under arm section to the bottom of the garment.

An article of apparel has a surface with a first part of a fastening system, and an attachment element has an outer area with a second part of the fastening system. The first part of the fastening system is joinable to the second part of the fastening system to attach the attachment element to the apparel. The first part of the fastening system is also separable from the second part of the fastening system to separate the attachment element from the apparel. The attachment element may be formed from a polymer foam material, may include a fluid-filled chamber, or may incorporate an electronic device, for example. In some configurations, the attachment element is secured to an exterior of the apparel. In other configurations, the attachment element is secured between two layers of the apparel.

The invention relates to a protective knee pad (1) for workmen, the protective knee pad comprising a knee support (100) and a protective member (200), said knee support comprising a front portion (10) and a rear portion (20), wherein the knee support is adapted to be wrapped around a user's knee and the protective member comprises a plurality of interconnected overlapping plates (40).

A knee pad assembly is disclosed to protect the knee of a workman who kneels down while working on a work surface. The knee pad assembly includes a flexible upper knee cushion at which to receive and cover the workman's knee and a rigid lower base that lies on the work surface below the upper knee cushion. The lower base has a continuously curved bottom to rock back and forth on the work surface when the workman shifts his weight while kneeling. The upper knee cushion and the lower base are held one above the other against the knee of the workman by a knee pad strap that is wrapped around the workman's leg. A pair of springs (e.g., flexible carbon fiber sheets having a spring memory) extend across the lower base below the upper knee cushion so as to suspend the workman's knee above the work surface and flex in response to the workman's knee pushing down on the knee cushion.

A body protection system comprising multiple protective assemblies that permits adjustability of the multiple assemblies in respect to one another thereby permitting a complete body protection system that is usable across different size personnel. The multiple protective assemblies may be separately adjusted permitting a one-size-fits-most capability for the different sized personnel. The body protection system permits reuse among different sized people thereby reducing overall costs associated with protecting members of law enforcement, military or other organizations. The body protection system may include a unique adjustable neck protectors that provides enhanced protection for the neck area. The various multiple protective assemblies may suspend directly or indirectly from the shoulder pad assemblies providing a common comprehensive suspension system for a wearer.

A shoulder-pad system includes various components, including an impact-plate assembly and one or more sub-layers. The shoulder-pad system may be substantially retained in an arrangement or configuration using one or more securing garments. An exemplary securing garment includes an upper-body garment that at least partially wraps over, and attaches to, the impact-plate assembly.
