SHOULDER SLING AND PILLOW SYSTEM
A shoulder sling and pillow system that will house a beverage and a cellphone. The system is designed to ergonomically fit around the waist of a user and the system will also allow a cellphone to be charged. The system will use removable straps that will attach to the foam pillow and to the brace of the shoulder sling and pillow system.
ARM PROTECTOR OR OTHER BODY PART PROTECTOR
A protector for protecting an arm or other body part of a wearer, such as a sports player playing lacrosse, hockey, baseball, or another sport. The protector comprises: a base for engaging the wearer's arm or other body part; and a pad member fastened to the base and comprising protective padding. The pad member may be fastened to the base by a narrow fastening zone. This may allow the protector to better fit on the wearer's arm or other body part, reduce resistance to movement of the wearer's arm or other body part, and/or increase breathability or ventilation of the wearer's arm or other body part and the protector itself.
CHEST PROTECTOR
The present invention is directed to a chest pad that significantly reduces the occurrence of commotio cordis among athletes. The chest pad may be utilized as a stand-alone chest protector intended to provide coverage primarily for the upper chest wall and the cardiac area. The chest pad may also be implanted into or utilized in traditional chest protectors that provide full coverage of the user's torso. The chest pad of the present invention provides additional protection to the heart of the wearer such that impact in the heart area with a projectile is absorbed by the chest pad.
ARM COVER GLOVE DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE REMOVAL OF INTRAVENOUS ACCESS DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An arm cover glove device for protecting the removal of an intravenous access device includes a sleeve portion, a glove portion and a securing system. The sleeve portion is configured to go around an arm of a patient. The sleeve portion includes an open top end configured to receive and cover an arm of the patient into a hollow interior of the sleeve portion, and a bottom end. The glove portion is connected to the bottom end of the sleeve portion. The glove portion is configured to receive and cover the hand of the patient. The sleeve portion and the glove portion are configured to cover the intravenous access device while connected to the arm or hand of the patient. The securing system is configured to keep the patient from removing the arm cover glove device.
Unisex Pelvic Groin Support Garment With Adjustable Pouch, Waist Belt, And Straps Apparatus, And A Method of Using Same
The present invention encompasses a pelvic groin support garment having at least two adjustable groin straps, an adjustable waist belt, and an adjustable pelvic groin area support pouch or apron which can be used by both men, and women, who have any kind of injury or insult causing edema or discomfort in the pelvic or groin or genital area. The invention also provides a method of using the inventive pelvic groin medical garment for injuries or trauma in the genital area by both men, and women. The inventive straps that are secured to the adjustable waist belt are configured to go around the thighs, and around the buttock, and below the user's intergluteal cleft, which increases the user's comfort, and enables the user to more easily maintain a higher level of hygiene, and support for a fully adjustable individualized fit.
SPORTS SHOULDER PADS WITH HYBRID FOAM BODY PAD
A shoulder pad assembly has main body cushions consisting of a plurality of different types of foam material joined together to result in a hybrid pad structure constructed from slow-response foam and open-cell foam. A main body cushion is constructed from a first sheet or panel of slow response foam disposed over the torso of the wearer, a second sheet or panel of slow-response foam disposed over the back of the wearer, joined together by a third sheet or panel of open-cell foam positioned between the first sheet and second sheet, disposed over the wearer's shoulder. Optionally, a fourth sheet or pad of slow-response foam is disposed on the third sheet, disposed over the wearer's shoulder, preferably at the location that is most likely to suffer blows during football play. Optionally, a fifth sheet or pad of open-cell foam is disposed on the first sheet, on the side of the first sheet in contact with the wearer and a sixth sheet or pad of open-cell foam is disposed on the second sheet.
Knee Pad Support Frame
A support frame for a knee pad has three major components that interlock with each other to form a rigid and strong frame capable of supporting the weight of a person who is working on knees. The three components are molded of a rigid plastic material. The upper component has a knee seat and a strap for wrapping around the leg of the wearer; the lower component has a cuff for wrapping around the wearer's ankle. Fastener devices for attaching the knee pad and the straps to the support frame are either incorporated into or provided on the support frame.
Remoldable impact plate
An impact plate system is provided herein comprising a textile layer comprising at least a first surface and an elastically resilient material. The system further comprises a moldable plate coupled to the first surface of the textile layer. The moldable plate comprises a polymeric material having a tensile strength within the range of 40 MPa to 50 MPa, according to ASTM D638 standards.
STABILIZED SUPPORT DEVICE FOR A LIMB GUARD
A device for coupling a limb guard to a human limb includes a support sleeve configured to wrap around the limb. The support sleeve includes a friction pad configured to cushion the limb and oppose translational and rotational displacement of the device relative to the limb. The support sleeve provides a stable attachment surface for a joint guard and/or limb guard and may be worn without discomfort for extended periods, remaining stationary relative to the limb while a person wearing the device moves about.
Releasably engagable system of ballistic resistant panels
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a releasably engagable system of ballistic-resistant panels including a first ballistic-resistant panel having opposing first ballistic-resistant panel front and back surfaces and a second ballistic-resistant panel having opposing second ballistic-resistant panel front and back surfaces. Additionally, the embodiments of the releasably engagable systems of ballistic-resistant panels include at least one of fasteners, an adhesive coating, or a securement element, all of which function to releasably engage the second ballistic-resistant panel front surface with the first ballistic-resistant panel back surface in fixed adjacent relation to provide releasably engaged ballistic-resistant panels. Further, disclosed herein are embodiments of a ballistic-resistant garment configured to receive an embodiment of the releasably engaged ballistic-resistant panels.
