Open-palm, fingerless hand protection gloves comprising a dorsal portion, a wrist portion, and at least one finger loop, where the dorsal portion is crisscrossed proximal to the at least one finger loop, are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a dorsal portion of a hand protective glove is not crisscrossed proximal to a finger loop. In some embodiments, a finger loop surrounds multiple fingers. In some embodiments, the hand protection glove may be a sun protection glove where at least the dorsal portion is formed of ultraviolet (UV) protective material.

There is provided an open-palmed glove. The glove includes a first layer of material. The glove includes a second layer of material coupled to and extending about peripheral portions of the first layer of the material. There is also provided an open-palmed glove comprising a single material in the form of one of leather, leather suede, synthetic leather, and microfiber, with a lining coupled to said single material and forming an aperture aligned with the back of the glove. There is yet further provided use of an open-palmed glove for rock climbing. The glove consists of a single material on the back thereof. The single material touches both the hand and a rock that is being climbed. A sun blocking assembly includes a sleeve that is selectively worn on an arm. The sleeve is elongated to extend between a crown of a shoulder and a wrist. The sleeve is comprised of an opaque material to block sunlight thereby inhibiting the sunlight from burning the arm. A drawstring is slidably coupled to the sleeve to tighten the sleeve on the arm. A first elastic member is coupled to the sleeve to tighten the sleeve on the arm. A glove is provided and the glove is selectively worn on a hand. The glove is comprised of an opaque material to block sunlight thereby inhibiting the sunlight from burning the hand.

The glove signalling accessory is a contribution to the safety of people who do any activity at night or in dark environments. A safety glove for protecting the hand of a worker is provided, configured to protect the hand of the worker while still providing flexibility and dexterity to the user. The glove features a first protective structure or structures secured to a first base layer to protect the distal phalange bone of the worker, and a second protective structure or structures secured to a second base layer to protect the intermediate phalange and proximal phalange bones of the worker. The separation between the base layers provides for enhanced flexibility of the distal phalange, and allows for flexibility when performing tasks that require agility and dexterity.

An arm shield constructed from a thin sheet material has a curvature around an elongate axis. Opposite side edges are substantially parallel to the elongate axis. A nose edge extends from the first end. A tail curvature similar to the sheet curvature extends from the second end. An adjustable strap connects the first side edge to the second side edge.

A disclosed method for manufacturing a glove includes forming a base via molding, the base being shaped to include a palm portion and one or more extremity portions. The method also includes forming a top skin via molding, the top skin including one or more compartments, and forming a backhand assembly by attaching one or more edges of the one or more compartments of the top skin to the base. At least one remaining edge of each of the one or more compartments is unattached from the base. The method also includes reversing an orientation of the backhand assembly, filling each of the one or more compartments of the top skin with foam, and attaching the at least one remaining edge of each of the one or more compartments to the base.

The present invention relates to a protective glove configured to protect a dorsal side of a hand of a user, comprising: a flexible layer configured to fit against a back of the hand and comprising extensions that are each configured to extend along and fit against a respective proximal phalanx of a finger: a rigid shell configured to extend over a metacarpal area and over knuckles of the back of the hand to thereby protect the back of the hand, wherein said shell is supported by said flexible layer and arranged at an offset relative to the back of the hand to thereby define a gap between the shell and the back of the hand: wherein one or more than one of the extensions that are configured to extend along the proximal phalanx of the finger supports a phalanx protector that is configured to extend over the respective proximal phalanx, wherein the phalanx protector is further configured to extend over a corresponding knuckle of the hand; andwherein, at least when the fingers are extended, the rigid shell and the phalanx protector define an overlap and the phalanx protector that extends over the corresponding knuckle extends in the offset that defines the gap between the rigid shell and the back of the hand.

A hand wrap includes a knuckle cover sheet, and an elongate wrap body that is adapted to be wrapped around a hand and a wrist of a user. An attachment strap connects the knuckle cover sheet with a proximal end of the elongate wrap body. A fastening mechanism fastens a distal end of the elongate wrap body to itself to secure the hand wrap in place around the hand and wrist of the user while in use. The invention further includes a method of use of the hand wrap to wrap the hand and the wrist of the user.
