Antiviral Face Mask
Disclosed herein are washable, reusable, antimicrobial and antiviral face masks and methods of their use for the reduction of transmission of infectious pathogens. Exemplary face masks are made of silver-coated material wherein activation of the silver from moisture in a user's breath kills pathogens. The disclosed face masks are useful in reducing, inhibiting or killing pathogens, such as SARS-CoV-2, that contact the face mask within 2 hours of continuous contact.
FULL-COVER TYPE PORTABLE AIR PURIFIER
A full-cover type portable air purifier includes a breathing mask provided with a first air inlet, an air cleaning device having a fan mounted in a housing thereof to drive outside air from the first air inlet into the breathing mask, an air filter set in the breathing mask, and a wearing device designed to be worn on the user's head or ears so that the breathing mask can cover the user's mouth and nose. In this way, it can filter dust, bacteria and viruses and facilitate wearing during activities.
TRANSPARENT FACE MASKS AND RELATED METHODS
A face mask is disclosed that comprises a body including a material exhibiting a refractive index between 1.2 and 1.7, at least one strap for securing the face mask to a head of a wearer, and an element located and configured to enable adjustment of a pressure between the face mask and a wearer's face. A method of producing a face mask is also disclosed, as is a face mask including a sealant disposed on an inner surface of the face mask. A face mask comprising a polymeric material is also disclosed.
Mask Adjunct Device
A mask insert and mask system for improving breathing during exertion are disclosed. A mask adjunct device allows for better ventilatory airflow to a masked user especially when moisture causes the mask to collapse against the face reducing airflow. The mask adjunct device is insertable under a face mask to provide a rigid structure defining non-collapsible space between the face and the outer mask. The mask adjunct device comprises a sidewall component comprising openings for air flow and a face engaging component for engaging the user's face. An outer wall component rigidly connects the sidewall component opposite the face engaging component to create the non-collapsible space. The system further comprises an outer face mask for positioning over the mask adjunct device.
Partition plate device of a respirator mask
A partition plate device of a respirator mask includes a partition plate having an upside surface and a downside surface each cooperating with a mask body and a user's face to define an upper chamber and a lower chamber, respectively, a mask connecting rims for connecting against an inner surface of the mask body a user connecting rim for contacting the user's face, and at least one valve hole extending through the upside and downside surfaces and communicating with the upper and lower chambers. A valve unit includes at least one valve flap covering the valve hole and being movable away from the same to permit air in the lower chamber to flow in a single direction to the upper chamber.
RESPIRATORY FACE MASK FOR IMPROVED COMMUNICATIONS
The present disclosure delineates both active as well as passive respiratory filtration systems. The respiratory filtration systems are configured to be worn by a user, providing the user protection from the ambient environment, possibly containing microorganisms, pathogens, particulate matter, and the like. Some embodiments are also designed to protect observers, by filtering user exhalation air released into the environment. Nontransparent members of the system are configured to be located over impassive features of the user's face, such as the cheeks or chin areas. The disclosed respiratory filtration system(s) are comprised from one or more hygienic materials. The hygienic materials are carefully selected and disposed at predetermined locations within the respiratory filtration system, so to optimize user to the observer(s) communications. Optimized communications include the transmission of distortion-free speech and/or unobstructed view of the user's oronasal area—via an expression window(s).
Multilayer Face-Covering
A multilayered face-covering is provided with at least two layers and joined with a centrally located merge stitch or nose seam. The outer is a thicker knitted cloth material with a higher thread-weight and/or thread-count than the inner layer to create an increased stiffness on the outer layer that resists compressive buckling. The inner layer is lightweight and provides a comfortable cushion against the user's skin. Face-covering can also include a intermediate layer sandwiched between inner and outer layers. The intermediate layer provides additional filtering of inhaled and/or exhaled particles and enhances the outer layer's rigidity.
PERSONAL RESPIRATORY PROTECTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a personal respiratory protection device, in particular, such a device comprising a respirator body having a periphery, a filter media, forming at least part of the respirator body, and a gasket, the gasket being located at the periphery and extending along at least a portion of its length.
Interchangeable Filter Facemask Apparatus
An interchangeable filter facemask apparatus for providing a variety of different filtration options includes a mask body including a body perimeter portion, a sidewall extending from the body perimeter portion, a body left side, a body right side, a body nose side, a body chin side, a body outside, and a body inside. The sidewall has a filter aperture extending from the body outside through the body inside. A headband is coupled to the mask body. A body engagement member is coupled to the body outside adjacent an aperture perimeter of the filter aperture. Each of a plurality of filters has a filter outside, a filter inside, and a filter perimeter. Each filter has a filter engagement member coupled to the filter inside adjacent the filter perimeter. The filter engagement member is selectively engageable with the body engagement member to cover the filter aperture with the filter.
HYGIENIC FACE MASK
A protective facemask configured to block and redirect exhaled breath from a wearer in order to inhibit spread of respiratory droplets disposed in the exhaled breath. The facemask of the present invention includes a body that is manufactured from clear plastic. The body includes an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the upper portion has a defining upper perimeter edge. The body has a width proximate the lower end that is less than that of the width proximate the upper end. A pair of opposing wing members are contiguous with the body and extend around the cheek areas of the wearer. The body is engaged and adjacent the nose and cheeks of the wearer but has a void between the inner surface and face below the nose and cheek area. The lower end has a bottom perimeter edge that is arcuate in form so as to redirect exhaled breath.
