Hoodie mask
The hooded piece of clothing enables the user to quickly convert the hood into a facial covering, by using an opening in the fabric, which can be quickly opened or closed by a fastener. The drawstrings on either side are pulled down to tighten the facial covering around the face.
PROTECTIVE MASK
Provided is a protective mask, including: a mask, a hood, a barrier layer and an air guide, the mask comprising protective goggles, air outlet and air inlet, the air outlet and air inlet being disposed respectively at the upper and lower ends of the protective goggles, the air inlet being disposed with a filter, the air inlet and the air outlet communicating with the inside of the mask; the hood being connected to the mask, and covering the edge of the mask; the barrier layer being disposed at the connection between the mask and the hood to block external air from entering; and the air guide being disposed at the air outlet. The air enters the mask and the hood through the air inlet, guided by the air guide to the air outlet, and then discharged to the outside through the air outlet.
Personal Protection System Including Medical Garment With A Shield
A surgical helmet (720) for use with a surgical garment (718) and a power source (826). The surgical helmet comprises a protrusion (746) extending from a top beam (729) and configured to removably secure the surgical garment to the surgical helmet, and a projection (754) extending transversely from the protrusion to retain the surgical garment. The surgical helmet may also comprise a post (834) and the power source may comprise a plug (832), wherein the post and the plug comprise complementary features to allow the plug to be rotated about the post without breaking the electrical connection between the plug and the post.
Head Covering Device Providing Filtered Intake and Exhaust Air
A device for filtering air for a user comprising a rigid component comprising a transparent face shield that provides a space for air between an inside surface of the face shield and the user's face, an intake port, through which air enters the device, an exhaust port, through which air exits the device, a fabric component affixed to the rigid component that, combined with the rigid component, covers the user's head and seals around the user's neck, an intake filter that filters air passing through the intake port, an exhaust filter that filters air passing through the exhaust port, and an air mover held by the rigid component that moves air through the intake port and out the exhaust port.
PPE with rotating assembly providing multiple face covers
A personal protective device (PPE) including a face cover assembly and a bodysuit configured to be worn by a human user. The device protects users against airborne aerosol particles containing viruses or other infectious agents while enabling improved flexibility relative to prior art designs. The device includes a helmet-like” rotating face cover assembly that fits over the user's head and attaches to a collar on the biohazard bodysuit. This rotating face cover assembly has a plurality of different mask sides, each with differing geometries or other properties. The device enables a user to rotate (either manually or by electric motor) the masks and select a given mask side that best meets that user's needs. The different mask sides can accommodate different facial geometries, eyewear types, and use cases, such as operation in more hostile environments.
Respirator with phase change material
A respirator includes a frame, a filter layer, and a face seal member. The frame has an outer side and an inner side. The frame defines an opening therethrough. The filter layer is mounted to the outer side of the frame and covers the opening of the frame. The filter layer is configured to prohibit permeation of aerosol, gas, and/or vapor contaminants therethrough. The face seal member is mounted to the inner side of the frame. The face seal member includes a seal contact area configured to engage a facial surface of a wearer. The face seal member incorporates a phase change material therein. The phase change material is configured to provide localized cooling by absorbing heat emitted by the wearer.
MAGNETIC MASK
A head garment having a base section and a face section is provided where the face section is both affixed to the base section and releasably extends over the face of the user to create a magnetic seal against the elements. The head garment may also include a magnetic fastener to position the face covering section when it is not extended over the face of the user.
Surgical helmet
Implementations described herein include surgical helmet assemblies that have a helmet enclosure shaped to encircle a head of a user. The helmet enclosure retains a fan and includes a brow bar portion at a front of the helmet enclosure that is shaped to extend along a brow or a forehead of the user and having a light positioned therein. The helmet enclosure also includes a stabilizer extending downward from the helmet enclosure in front of the ears of a user, a face shield that is transparent and coupleable to at least the brow bar portion, a headband shaped to extend across an occiput region of the user's head, and a surgical garment for covering at least the head and shoulders of a user in use. The brow bar portion includes vents disposed therein to direct airflow pushed through the helmet enclosure from the fan onto the user. The face shield is coupleable to the helmet enclosure by one or more of a hook and loop fastener on the helmet enclosure or the stabilizer and a post protruding from the brow bar portion.
MODULAR HEAD GARMENT
A head garment, which may comprise a nose covering portion, a head covering portion, and/or a neck covering portion. The nose covering portion may comprise a nose bridge portion, an upper lip portion, and a throughhole The head covering portion may be affixed to the nose covering portion and positioned to, when the head garment is worn by a user, cover the user's forehead and the back of the user's head. The neck covering portion may comprise an upper edge with a fastener portion that is configured to engage with a corresponding fastener portion on the lower edge of the nose covering portion, to releasably affix the lower edge of the nose covering portion to the upper edge of the neck covering portion, and disengage from the corresponding fastener portion on the lower edge of the nose covering portion, to form a mouth opening between the two edges.
Surgical garment
A surgical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell, a transparent face shield, and an attachment element coupled to the transparent face shield. The garment may be configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces. The attachment element comprises a head having a distal surface and a proximal surface, and defining a coupling recess, the coupling recess is defined in the proximal surface of the head. The garment may comprise a first and second attachment element, with the first attachment element being coupled to upper portion of the transparent face shield and the second attachment element being coupled to lower portion of the transparent face shield.
