SAFETY HELMET WITH TELESCOPICALLY ADJUSTABLE HEAD SIZE

A safety helmet with a helmet shell, with a bearing ring, with a rotatable actuating element (14) and with a transmission unit (15.1, 15.2). The transmission unit (15.1, 15.2) transmits a rotation of the actuating element to the bearing ring, so that the head size provided is changed. A helmet shell-side transmission piece (15.1) is non-rotatably connected to the actuating element (14) such that they rotate in unison, and a bearing ring-side transmission piece (15.2) is connected mechanically to the bearing ring. The helmet shell-side transmission piece (15.1) can move both relative to the actuating element (14) and relative to the bearing ring-side transmission piece (15.2) linearly in two opposite directions. The distance between the actuating element (14) and the bearing ring can be changed thereby.

Helmet padding systems are disclosed. One helmet padding system includes a rigid shell, a ratchet system, and a spacing pad. The rigid shell includes a pair of slots extending from a lower rear edge of the rigid shell in a direction toward a lower front edge of the rigid shell. The pair of slots define a central portion and opposed side portions of the rigid shell. The central portion includes at least one pair of flaps that extend outwardly from the central portion into the pair of slots. The ratchet system is coupled to the rigid shell, and includes a pair of ratchet straps and a pair of ratchet latches configured to secure respective ones of the pair of ratchet straps. The spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell, and includes a layer of elastomeric material.

ADJUSTABLE HEADBAND FOR A HELMET AND HELMET PROVIDED WITH ONE SUCH HEADBAND

A headband comprises a strip forming a part of a ring around a user’s head. An adjustment device adjusts a circumference of the ring by moving one end of the strip that is fixed to an attachment point movable with respect to the body. A rotary actuator is functionally connected to the adjustment device by means of a transmission so that rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the attachment point. The adjustment device comprises a threaded section and a nut. The nut and threaded section forming a helical link, rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the nut along the threaded section. The nut or threaded section moves along a longitudinal axis of the threaded section and supports the attachment point. A helmet comprises such headband.

A comfortable construction helmet easy to assembly and adjust is revealed. The construction helmet includes a support frame mounted therein and a head cushion fixed on the support frame for allowing a user's forehead to abut against. Left and right straps are extended from two sides of the support frame while an adjustment assembly is disposed between the left and right straps for adjusting the length of the straps. The adjustment assembly includes a base, a rotating member mounted in the base, an outer cap, and a toothed disc arranged over the rotating member and positioned in the outer cap. Two connecting strip are extended from two sides of the rotating member and connected to the left and right straps respectively. The toothed disc which is driven by the outer cap further drives the rotating member to rotate for changing the length of the connecting strips.

Surgical helmet assembly having an adjustment mechanism

A surgical helmet assembly (30) to be worn by a user during surgical operations. The surgical helmet assembly includes a frame assembly (40) having a helmet shell (42) to be worn over the user's head. A fan (44) is coupled to the helmet shell to circulate air around the helmet shell. A headband assembly (78) is coupled to the helmet shell to secure the surgical helmet assembly to the head of the user. The surgical helmet assembly further includes an adjustment assembly (100) to adjust a sagittal fit of the helmet shell and the headband assembly to the head of the user while keeping a center of mass of the frame assembly in close proximity to the head of the user. The surgical helmet assembly further includes another adjustment assembly (118) concentric to the first adjustment assembly to adjust a circumferential fit of the headband assembly to the head of the user.

Skull mounting system for headgear, respiratory hood with headgear and method for fastening of headgear

A skull mounting system for headgear, preferably for a respirator hood, is described. The skull mounting system comprises a headband with a front head strap, which extends around the front of the head of a wearer, and a rear head strap, which is found on the back of the head of the wearer. The rear head strap is connected to the front head strap by means of two swivel joints. The swivel joints are at least partially freely rotatable in a corresponding adjustment position and are not rotatable in a corresponding locked position.

Closing device having a winding element

A fastener device includes a first fastener part and a second fastener part which can be mounted on one another along a closing direction and are held against one another in a closed position, and are releasable from one another in order to open the fastener device. The second fastener part has a winding element on which a tension element can be arranged and which is rotatable relative to the first fastener part in order to wind up the tension element on the winding element in a winding direction.

THE RATCHET DIAL MECHANISM FOR HELMET

A ratchet dial mechanism used on ballistic protective personal equipment and ballistic protective personal helmets, which enables the chin straps to be adjusted by tightening and loosening so that the helmet fits snugly on the user's head with precision and decreases the manufacturing cost and time due to fewer parts needed for assembly.

A lace dial system (5810) has a first rack (5850A), a second rack (5850B), a frame (5840), a pinion (5870), a brake (5860), and a lace (5830). The first rack has a set of teeth (5850A3), and a first end (5850A5). The second rack has a set of teeth (5850B3), and a first end (5850B5). The pinion has a body and a set of teeth (5870A) extending longitudinally from the body and engaging with the teeth on the first and second racks. The brake allows rotation of the pinion only when a rotation force applied to the pinion exceeds a predetermined, non-trivial amount. Rotating the pinion in a first direction causes the first end of the first rack and the first end of the second rack to move toward each other, wherein the lace is tightened. Rotating the pinion in a second, opposite direction causes the lace to be loosened.

Safety helmet inner lining adjustable for suitable wearing
11517064 · 2022-12-06 ·

The present invention provides a safety helmet inner lining adjustable for suitable wearing, consisting of: a covering body, which has an inner side surface that contacts a user's head and an outer side surface relative to the inner side surface; at least one interlayer pocket, which is disposed on the outer side surface of the covering body; and at least one cushiony pad, which is suitable for placement inside the interlayer pocket. A user is able to place the cushiony pads of suitable thickness into the interlayer pockets at preset positions according to the user's to head shape and dimensions. The inner lining is then put onto the head and a safety helmet put on top. The cushiony pads enable correcting the interspace between the user's head and the safety helmet, thereby allowing suitable and perfect fitting of the safety helmet that ensures safety of the wearer.
