Glass for helmet
Glasses for a helmet is configured to rotate a glass member in a state where the glass member is mounted onto the helmet by means of one touch, thereby allowing the glass member to be located in front of a wearer's eyes, and configured to reversely rotate the glass member, thereby opening the front sides of his or her eyes. The glasses for a helmet includes: helmet attachment members fixedly attached to the helmet worn on a wearer's head; glass mounting members separably mounted onto the helmet attachment members by means of one touch; and a glass member adapted to rotate in a state of being rotatably fixed to the glass mounting members in such a manner as to be located in front of the wearer's eyes.
Helmet mounting system
Systems and methods for attaching an accessory to a helmet. A helmet accessory mounting interface may be attached to a receptacle. The receptacle may be removably or permanently received by a carrier. The carrier may be attached to a helmet having a particular shape and size. The carrier also may be configured to receive any selected type of a plurality of receptacle types which, in turn, corresponds to a particular mounting interface for a helmet accessory. The receptacle may be receivable, in some embodiments removably, by any one of a number of different types of carriers.
PROTECTIVE HELMET
The present invention relates to a protective helmet (10) comprising an outer shell (12) and a visor (14) removably coupled to the outer shell (12) by means of a fastening mechanism (20) positioned on facing surfaces of the shell (12) and the visor (14). According to the invention the fastening mechanism (20) comprises complementarily shaped elements (22, 24) comprising at least one protrusion (22) and at least one receiving seat (24) provided with a flexible holding portion (26). The at least one protrusion (22) is adapted to be removably fixed inside the at least one receiving seat (24) by engaging the flexible holding portion (26).
Multi-body helmet construction with shield mounting
A helmet can comprise an upper-body and a lower-body nested within the upper-body. An opening can be formed within a front portion of the helmet and disposed between an outer surface of the upper-body and an inner surface of the lower-body. A first magnet can be encased within the upper-body or the lower-body and adjacent the opening. A shield can comprise a shield mount and a second magnet coupled to the shield mount that is sized to fit within the opening and to be releasably coupled to the first magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet can be self-aligned in direct alignment with eyes of a user. A third magnet can be disposed above the first magnet and aligned with the second magnet on an outer surface of the helmet out of sight from eyes of the user.
Clip-free helmet visors
A visor removably attached to a helmet includes a brim, a first wing extending from the brim, a first prong from the first wing engaging with the first side vent. A second wing opposite the first wing extends from the brim, a second prong from the second wing engaging with the second side vent. A distance between the first prong and the second prong is smaller than a distance between the first front wall of the first side vent and the second front wall of the second side vent, the first prong and the second prong respectively engaged with the first side vent and the second side vent through tension in the visor resulting from expansion of a wingspan between the first wing and the second wing.
Type variable helmet
A type variable helmet includes a half face unit formed to cover an upper part of a user's head, and an under face unit detachably attached to a lower part of the half face unit and configured to cover a lower part of the head of the user.
BALLISTIC PROTECTIVE HELMET
(in connection with FIG. 1)
The invention relates to a ballistic protective helmet (10) comprising a shell (21) comprising a shell material that is produced from a number of textile layers (11, 12) connected in a connection matrix.
The shell (21) of the protective helmet (10) according to the invention has a blind hole (22), wherein a threaded sleeve (23) has an outer thread (25) that penetrates into the shell material which surrounds the blind hole (22) in a peripheral direction, and wherein the threaded sleeve (23) has an inner thread (26) for connecting to a screwing means (24) having an outer thread (31).
Helmet with Accessory Attachment Rail
A protective helmet has an outer shell configured for surrounding a head of a user and at least one accessory attachment rail connected to the outer shell. The accessory attachment rail has a body having a front end, a rear end, and one or more slots between the front end and the rear end. Each of the one or more slots is configured for removably receiving at least one helmet accessory. A locking mechanism is associated with each of the one or more slots for automatically locking the at least one helmet accessory in the one or more slots upon insertion of the at least one helmet accessory within the one or more slots and for preventing removal of the at least one helmet accessory from the one or more slots. At least one connection element is provided for connecting the accessory attachment rail to the outer shell.
Ballistic and impact protective system for military helmet assembly
A helmet assembly includes a face shield and a single, center top mounting arrangement that operatively connects a center top location of the face shield to a center front mount on the helmet. The face shield can be raised and lowered about a pivot axis provided in the mounting arrangement between a tilted up, non-use position and a lowered, deployed position. The mounting arrangement can include a detent and two recesses, wherein the detent engages a first recess at a slightly forwardly displaced position to allow ventilation between the helmet and mandible and the face shield and a second recess at the tilted up, non-use position. The recess and detent engagement can be overcome by easy manual force acting on the face shield to reposition the face shield.
