A smart hat, a method and device for controlling the smart hat are provided. The smart hat includes a brim, and the method includes: acquiring configuration reference information of the brim, and the configuration reference information includes: attitude information of the brim and sunlight irradiation information; acquiring setting parameters according to the configuration reference information; reconfiguring the attitude of the brim according to the setting parameters.

An improved bicycle helmet includes an inner layer having a concave shape, an outer layer having a convex shape, and a sun visor. The outer layer covers the inner layer and includes an outer layer attachment member and an outer layer lock member. The sun visor includes a shade member and a sun visor attachment member connected to and distal to the shade member. The sun visor attachment member is adapted to rotatably engage with the outer layer attachment member to form a fulcrum. The sun visor lock member is adapted to operatively engage the outer layer lock member so as to releasably lock the sun visor into a fixed position. The sun visor lock member and the outer layer lock member operatively engage so as to allow the sun visor to be releasably locked into one of a plurality of fixed positions. the sun visor attachment member and the outer layer attachment member rotatably engage via a snap fit fastener.

A coupling system for safety headwear is provided. Various embodiments of safety headwear accessories, such as a brim guard, are adjustable to couple to various configurations of safety headwear. The brim guard includes a mechanism to detachably couple accessories, such as a face shield, to the safety headwear.

The present disclosure relates to a breakaway visor. The visor comprises a central portion and a side portion extending from each side of the central portion. The side portion includes a side coupling mechanism having an opening to receive a screw to couple the visor with a side part of a helmet. In event of exertion of an external force, the visor is configured to be detached from the helmet without being broken.

An apparatus for a helmet including a receiver adapted for connecting with an accessory. The apparatus comprises a visor adapted to releasably connect with the receiver, the visor including a repeater adapted to connect with the accessory when the visor is connected to the receiver. An auxiliary visor system for use with or without helmet. Includes an attachment band formed of an improved stretch loop material with loop connector material on one side and silicone on the second. The second, inward facing side secures the front visor to the helmet. The stretch material provides inwardly-directed force to the exterior surface of a helmet. The silicone material is flexible and also provides frictional grip to secure the attachment band to the exterior of the helmet. A hook material fastener couples to the loop connector material on the exterior of the improved stretch loop material to close the attachment band. An optional detachable visor attaches to the outside of the attachment strap formed of the stretch loop material with hook material.
