An air control pad for an helmet is provided. The helmet for use with the air control pad comprises an outer shell having an inside surface facing a head of a person when wearing the helmet, an inner liner surrounding the head of the user when wearing the helmet and operatively mounted to the helmet outer shell, a chin bar disposed below the face visor, the chin bar having an inside surface facing toward the person when wearing the helmet and a breath guard. The inner liner generally having an inner face forming a curved surface for receiving the head of the user when wearing the helmet and a substantially transparent face visor attached to the helmet outer shell. The air control pad is preferably embodied as a flexible element extending upwardly and/or inwardly from the helmet inner liner on the right and/or left inner side of the face visor or goggles. The flexible element is configured to be in contact with the face edge of the breath guard and the inner liner.

Protecting helmet of the type including at least one inner shell made of a shock-absorbing material, the inner shell being covered with an outer shell on the outside and delimiting a front opening of the helmet, as well as at least one anti-dazzle visor constrained to the protecting helmet so that to rotate and/or translate with respect to the outer shell and to move between a lowered position interfering, at least partially, with such a front opening, and a raised position disengaging from the aforesaid front opening, and vice versa. Advantageously, the protecting helmet further includes an electric motor to operate the aforesaid anti-dazzle visor from its lowered position to its raised position, or vice versa, and an automatic control unit vocally operated to control the aforesaid motor.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a mounting sheet which can be easily mounted to a visor shield in a helmet, a lens in goggles, or the like and is less likely to come off. A mounting sheet is a mounting sheet which is mounted to a concave curved surface, which is an inner wall surface of a visor shield or a goggle lens, in a state where the mounting sheet is deflected along the curved surface. The mounting sheet is configured to include a plate-shaped base material sheet, which is formed of polycarbonate having a thickness of 0.1 mm or more and has a curvature smaller than that of a mounting surface when not mounted to the mounting surface, and an anti-fog layer provided on at least one of both surfaces of the base material sheet, which does not face the concave curved surface when mounted to the concave curved surface.

A protective helmet has one or more air guiding members configured to place in fluid communication at least one area of the helmet with several ventilation ports for output/expulsion of air to define an area for the passage of air flow independent from, and/or isolated, and/or not in fluid communication with, other areas for the passage of air flows in the helmet.

Attachable optical element arrangements and methods

Described is a kit, an optical insert assembly and a method for attaching an optical insert to a viewing lens of an eye-shielding device. The kit includes an optical insert with an outer perimeter, and a flexible border attachment element with an inner periphery area extending inward of the outer perimeter of the optical insert, and an outer periphery area extending outward of the outer perimeter of the optical insert, and having a first adhesive area for attachment to the optical insert and a second adhesive area for attachment to the viewing lens. When attached, the border attachment element defines a buffer zone spanning the inner periphery and outer periphery areas. The optical insert assembly includes the elements of the kits described herein, attached to a viewing lens of an eye-shielding device.
