Foot support systems including tiltable forefoot components
Sole structures, foot support systems, articles of footwear, and/or other foot-receiving devices include: (a) a first footwear component having a ground-facing surface, wherein a forefoot portion of the ground-facing surface includes arched medial and lateral surfaces and (b) a second footwear component having an upper-facing surface, wherein a forefoot portion of the upper-facing surface includes arched medial and lateral surfaces that face (and optionally contact) the respective arched medial and lateral surfaces of the first footwear component. The first and second footwear components are movably engaged together such that: (a) the arched medial surface of the first footwear component moves with respect to and along the arched medial surface of the second footwear component and (b) the arched lateral surface of the first footwear component moves with respect to and along the arched lateral surface of the second footwear component.
Shoe with a heel cap and/or ankle collar
Shoes, in particular sports shoes, and methods for their manufacture can correspond to a shoe that has an upper with a textile region in at least one of a forefoot region and a midfoot region, as well as a heel cap of the upper. The heel cap substantially surrounds a rear side, a medial side, and a lateral side of a heel of a wearer's foot when worn. The heel cap forms a heel region of the upper, and the heel cap is manufactured substantially as one piece from a non-textile flexible plastic material.

A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a base component and a wedge component. The base component has a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region, and includes a forward base portion and a rearward base portion. The forward base portion of the base component includes a forward lateral flange and a forward medial flange. The wedge component extends from the midfoot region to the heel region and includes a forward portion having a rearward medial flange and a rearward lateral flange. The forward lateral flange of the base component abuts the rearward lateral flange of the wedge component. The forward medial flange of the base component abuts the rearward medial flange of the wedge component.

Disposable, low friction, breathable bootie for ski boot
A disposable, low friction, breathable bootie is provided that accommodates the shape and size of a human foot. The bootie is made from a thin, flexible polymer sheet-like material in a generally tubular form. The bootie has a foot portion, a lower leg portion, and an ankle portion therebetween. The bootie includes a series of air vents in the foot portion and lower leg portion to provide airflow to the foot, while such vents are located to avoid key friction points between the foot and the ski boot during the donning and doffing processes. The bootie facilitates donning and doffing a ski boot. The vents provide breathability while the bootie is worn within the ski boot.

Describes are support elements for a sole of a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, a sole and a shoe with such a support element, as well as a method for the manufacture of a support element. As examples, the support element includes a first partial member formed of a first material, and a second partial member formed of a second material. The first partial member is mechanically joined to the second partial member in a connection region, wherein the connection region is configured to allow the first partial member to rotate or slide relative to the second partial member. The first partial member, the second partial member, and the connection region can be co-molded and joined together in a single fabricating step.
Shoe with waterproof and vapor-permeable sole and upper
A shoe including a waterproof and vapor-permeable sole and an assembly associated in an upper region with respect to the sole. The assembly includes: an external vapor-permeable upper, an internal lining and, interposed between them, a first waterproof and vapor-permeable functional element, and a perforated or vapor-permeable insole, which is joined in a perimetric region at least to the lining. A flexible waterproof element is associated in a lower region with respect to the insole, at least partially perforated or vapor-permeable at a vapor permeation area, the sole being joined perimetrically to form a seal to the assembly and to the flexible element.
Ventilation Of Footwear
A ventilation apparatus including a pump, a switching unit, and a fluid diffuser is provided. The pump attached to the footwear pumps fluid into and exhausts fluid from a cavity of the footwear. The switching unit in communication with the pump selectively changes modes of operation of the pump. The fluid diffuser connected to the pump within the cavity of the footwear includes a feed pipe for transferring the fluid pumped from the pump to the cavity of the footwear during a pump mode of operation and to transfer the fluid in the cavity of the footwear to an ambient environment external to the footwear during an exhaust mode of operation, for ventilating the footwear. In one or more embodiments, the fluid diffuser includes a diffusing member with one or more openings and/or a fluid distribution channel member for transferring the fluid to and from the cavity of the footwear.
