FOOT SOLE STIMULATION TOOL
20170273396 · 2017-09-28 ·

A foot sole stimulation tool is provided to press pressure points or support an arch by using protrusions, and the foot sole stimulation tool can place the protrusions in accurate positions. Four or more projections are sealed tightly within a bag body whose bottom side is affixed to a shoe sole, three or more of the projections determine a position of each projection by projections for recessed portion placed on a recessed portion of a foot sole, and projections for convex portion placed on a pressed target part of the foot sole are arranged accurately. The projections for convex portion press the pressure points and support the arch. For example, it can execute pressures to an adductor hallucis muscle precisely and is helpful for preventing hallux valgus.

Neutral posture orienting footbed system for footwear

A footbed system (10) for footwear comprises an insole mechanism (14), a midsole mechanism (11), wherein the insole mechanism is positioned on the midsole mechanism, and the outsole mechanism (15) is positioned under the midsole mechanism. The insole mechanism comprises a footbed insole (1), a heel pad (2) and a forefoot pad (3). The footbed insole comprises a pad anatomically shaped to correspond to the sole of a human foot, wherein the heel pad is positioned in the hindfoot portion of the footbed insole, and the forefoot pad is positioned in the forefoot portion of the footbed insole. The outsole mechanism comprises an opening (15A) for exposing a natural gait line groove of the midsole mechanism.

Dynamic Metatarsal Roll Bar
20220233341 · 2022-07-28 ·

A dynamic metatarsal roll bar as a footwear midsole insert, formed of a semi-rigid planar lattice of cells providing flexible support to the forefoot of a user. The cell walls provide structural support, while the planar lattice allows for flexing during a user's stride, returning to a base configuration after pressure from stride movement is relieved.

Strobel for an article of footwear and method of manufacturing

An article of footwear and a method of manufacturing an article of footwear includes a strobel having a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region. The strobel may define a forefoot through hole in the forefoot region and a heel through hole in the heel region. The shape, the position, or both the shape and the position of the forefoot through hole and the heel through hole may be based on a foot pressure map. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear comprises securing a midsole to a strobel, wherein the strobel has a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region, the strobel defines a forefoot through hole in the forefoot region and a heel through hole in the heel region, and the shape and/or position of the forefoot through hole and the heel through hole are based on a foot pressure map.

SHOE WITH A HIGH HEEL TO LOW HEEL CONVERSION
20210392997 · 2021-12-23 ·

A convertible shoe may include a sole and a plurality of interchangeable heel portions, each selectively attachable to the sole. The heel portions may each include a mounting surface configured to interface with a heel receiver of the sole. The heel receiver may include a fixed hook and a movable hook, with the movable hook being operable by an actuator coupled to a bottom surface of the sole. In some examples, an upper is secured to the sole of the shoe by one or more clamping plates. In some examples, the sole of the shoe is configured to be biased into a default bend corresponding to a high-heeled state even when a low heel is attached to the heel receiver.

THERAPEUTIC SHOES AND COMPONENTS FOR USE WITH THERAPEUTIC SHOES

Stability footwear (e.g., a pair of therapeutic shoes) may include at least one stabilizing member, stabilizer, and/or outrigger on a lateral (outer or inner) side of a shoe, substantially adjacent to a sole of a shoe. A stabilizer may be positioned proximate a surface on which the sole rests and extending anywhere from a front, substantially a toe, to a heel of a shoe. The stabilizing member, stabilizer, and/or outrigger may reduce undesired foot roll and consequential ankle injuries and/or falls, by providing additional lateral support that does not compromise mobility or performance of the user.

A sole structure includes a first cushioning element having a first top side and a bottom side formed on an opposite side from the first top side and defining a receptacle. The sole structure further includes a second cushioning element attached to the first cushioning element and having a second top side flush with the first top side of the first cushioning element. An upper plate is disposed within the receptacle and including a first end attached to the first cushioning element and a second end attached to the second cushioning element. A lower plate spaced is apart from the upper plate and includes a third end attached to the first cushioning element and a fourth end attached to the second cushioning element. A cushioning arrangement is disposed within the receptacle of the first cushioning element and attached to each of the upper plate and the lower plate.

Pressure relief system for footwear

Systems and methods are described for a shoe sole for relieving pressure from a wearer's metatarsal heads. In one aspect, a shoe sole comprises a shoe outer sole comprising a shaft region, a ball region, and a toe region. The shaft region underlies metatarsal shafts of the wearer and comprises a first lower surface, the ball region underlies metatarsal heads of the wearer and comprises a second lower surface, and the toe region underlies phalanges of the wearer and comprises a third lower surface. The second lower surface is raised relative to the first lower surface and the third lower surface.
