An article of footwear includes a dynamic support member that provides support to a foot. The support member is external to the article. The support member provides dynamic support by tightening around the foot when a user applies a strong enough force against a base portion of the support member. The support member includes several lateral gaps that facilitate increased flexibility for some portions of the support member.

Provided is a device for insertion into a high heel shoe, having a rear region positioned to underlying a wearer's calcaneal tuberosity, the rear region being shaped to accommodate a planer surface of the wearer's calcaneal tuberosity, an upper surface of said rear region having a raised portion underlying an area of the wearer's calcaneus immediately forward of the wearer's calcaneus tuberosity; and a forward region positioned to underlie at least a portion of the shafts of the wearer's metatarsals, the second upper surface of said forward region having a raised portion which gradually rises to an apex position to underlie the shafts of the wearer's second and third metatarsals.

Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.

An article of footwear and a method of manufacturing an article of footwear includes a strobel having a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region. The strobel may define a forefoot through hole in the forefoot region and a heel through hole in the heel region. The shape, the position, or both the shape and the position of the forefoot through hole and the heel through hole may be based on a foot pressure map. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear comprises securing a midsole to a strobel, wherein the strobel has a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region, the strobel defines a forefoot through hole in the forefoot region and a heel through hole in the heel region, and the shape and/or position of the forefoot through hole and the heel through hole are based on a foot pressure map.

A shoe insole having a protruding portion for stimulating the plantar side of a foot, and both shoe insole surfaces are used. The insole contains: a flat plate-shaped base portion made of a flexible material; and a protruding portion from at least one of the first and second insole surfaces and stimulates the plantar side of a foot. The first and second insole surfaces stimulate the same portion of the right and left feet when a load is applied by the foot from the second surface where the insole is in one of right and left shoes with the first surface having the protruding portion in contact with the shoe mid-sole portion, and when a load is applied by the foot from the first surface where the shoe insole is placed in the other of right and left shoes with the second surface in contact with the mid sole portion.

A shoe for golf including an upper, a midsole, and an outsole arranged to form an enclosure adapted to receive a foot of a wearer, and a toe area disposed at a front of the shoe and adapted to house toes of the wearer, where the toe area has an oblique shape delimited by an outer radius of the outsole of greater than zero.

A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a first midsole body and a second midsole body. The first midsole body defines a ground-facing surface and a foot-facing surface opposite the ground-facing surface and includes a first midsole material, which has a first hardness.
