Energizing safely shoe
An energizing safety shoe is capable of offering the user a high degree of protection in the case of accidents, in accordance with the current standards, together with a higher level of comfort perceived by the user thanks to a specific configuration of the multi-layer sole capable of respecting the ergonomics of the user in accordance with the biomechanics of walking.
Algae-derived flexible foam, and method of manufacturing the same
This document discloses algae-derived flexible foams, whether open-cell or closed-cell, with inherent antimicrobial and flame resistant properties, wherein a process of manufacturing includes the steps of: harvesting algae-biomass; sufficiently drying the algae biomass; blending the dried algae biomass with a carrier resin and various foaming ingredients; adding an algal-derived antimicrobial compound selected from various natural sulfated polysaccharides present in brown algae, red algae, and/or certain seaweeds (marine microalgae); and adding a sufficient quantity of dried algae biomass to the formulation to adequately create a fire resistant flexible foam material.

Sole structure for an article of footwear with first and second midsole bodies
A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a first midsole body and a second midsole body. The first midsole body defines a ground-facing surface and a foot-facing surface opposite the ground-facing surface and includes a first midsole material, which has a first hardness. The second midsole body extends through the first midsole body. As such, the second midsole body extends beyond the ground-facing surface of the first midsole body. The second midsole body includes a second midsole material, which has a second hardness, and the first hardness is greater than the second hardness.

SOFT SHELL BOOTS AND WATERPROOF/BREATHABLE MOISTURE TRANSFER COMPOSITES AND LINER FOR IN-LINE SKATES, ICE-SKATES, HOCKEY SKATES, SNOWBOARD BOOTS, ALPINE BOOTS, HIKING BOOTS AND THE LIKE
The soft boot and liner include a moisture transfer system that includes an inner fabric layer carefully selected from technically advanced fabrics. A series of layers are provided outside the inner liner including foam material layers, spacer fabrics and breathable membranes, in various orders. Encapsulation technology and waterproofing are used as well. The outer fabric layer is also capable of working with the other layers to promote the transfer of moisture. Frothed foams and flocking with fibers are further characteristics of the present invention. The moisture transfer system is incorporated into a soft boot or skate or as a removable liner for a shell boot. Numerous other modifications and applications are disclosed.

Sole structure for a shoe
A sole structure for a shoe that can secure cushioning properties and obtain a ground surface information is disclosed. The sole structure includes a first midsole having a plurality of first protrusions on a foot-sole-contact side, an outsole having a plurality of second protrusions on a ground surface side, and a second midsole disposed at a part of a region between the first midsole and the outsole and having a lower compressive rigidity than the first midsole. At least a part of the plurality of first protrusions of the first midsole is located at a position corresponding vertically to at least a part of the plurality of second protrusions of the outsole.
Direct bottomed article of footwear with an insert
An article of footwear has an upper that is direct attached with the sole. The direct attach sole has an insert, such as an airbag, that forms a portion of a sidewall. The insert is externally visible and forms at least a portion of an external sidewall of the sole. The insert is formed into the direct attach sole by having the insert or a mask temporarily joined with the insert contact a sidewall molding surface of a mold used in the direct attach operation such that the insert results in forming a visible element of the direct attached sole.
Tactile feedback shoe sole
A tactile feedback shoe sole for footwear comprising a main body that defines a toe portion, a middle portion and a heel portion. A first chamber filled with a fluid is disposed in one or more areas of the main body. A second chamber comprising a second chamber upper wall, a second chamber lower wall and projections is disposed in the arch region of the middle portion. Channels disposed between the first and the second chambers help in establishing fluidic communication between the first and second chambers. If the second chamber is compressed before the first chamber getting compressed, which is likely to happen when the feet of the user of the sole overpronate, the second chamber upper wall comes in contact with the second chamber lower wall and the projections are felt by the user in the arch region since the second chamber is not filled with the fluid.
