Athletic shoe incorporating an athletic positioning sole
An athletic shoe includes an upper section, an athletic specific bottom section, and an athletic positioning sole. The athletic positioning sole has a geometric shape that, when the athletic shoe is worn on a foot of an athletic and the athlete is standing, positions a heel of the foot above the toes of the foot and positions an outer edge of the foot above an inner edge of the foot.
MOLDED FOOTBED WITH INTEGRALLY FORMED MASSAGING DOMES
A footbed according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a top surface; a bottom surface; a plurality of domes formed in the footbed, the plurality of domes protruding at the top surface; each of the plurality of domes having an outer diameter at the top surface and a cavity formed under the dome, the cavity extending to the bottom surface; a first set of the plurality of domes each having a first outer diameter at the top surface; a second set of the plurality of domes each having a second outer diameter at the top surface; wherein the first outer diameter is larger than the second outer diameter, and wherein the footbed is a single piece of injection molded foam material.
LINER FOR SPORTS SHOES
A liner for sports shoes includes a sole, an upper to which is associable at least one deformable hollow insert, adapted to custom fit the liner to a user's foot. Specifically, in the deformable hollow insert a plastically deformable filler material is injectable at room temperature in a reversible manner by applying an injection pressure of a device. Moreover, the plastically deformable filling material is suitable to be suctioned, at room temperature, with the device from the deformable hollow insert applying a suction pressure.
CUSHIONING SHOE INSERT
This application discloses shoe inserts which are configured such that a user may expose one or more adhesive layers while the cushioning shoe insert is maintained at an optimal location within a shoe, thereby securing the cushioning shoe inserts precisely at the optimal location. Moreover, this application discloses shoe inserts which are designed to distribute necessary support forces, e.g. through a foot chock, thereby mitigating or eliminating uncomfortable levels of localized pressure.
ORTHOPEDIC INSOLES
The present invention generally relates to orthopedic insoles, either aftermarket insoles that can be added onto or exchanged for the insoles an existing shoe was manufactured with, or insoles that a shoe is built around on during manufacture. Specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to orthopedic insoles that comprise an angled forefoot area for varus correction. In particular, in embodiments of the present invention, the inside area of the inner right forefoot is raised to create an angle to accommodate forefoot varus. Also, in embodiments of the invention, the insoles may comprise a plantar fascial groove configured longitudinally on the arch of the innersole, for accommodation of tight fascia. Further, the heel area of the innersole may be elevated to accommodate for equinus foot. Insoles of the present invention provide both static and dynamic support.
TUNABLE RIGIDITY INSOLE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE STIFFENERS
A tunable rigidity insole with interchangeable stiffeners includes an arch pad main body and three rigid stiffeners. The arch pad main body includes a set of first to third engaging holes, and at least one or two of these three rigid stiffeners will be selected to assemble into the engaging holes on the arch pad main body. The three rigid stiffeners provide supports to lateral longitudinal, central and medial longitudinal arch portions respectively. The first, second and third rigid stiffeners have at least two engagement members for each stiffener, and the engagement members have engagement extensions with a partial length component toward another engagement extensions at the end of stiffeners thereof respectively. The engagement members engage with the arch pad main body corresponding to the engaging holes respectively. By selecting and assembling different stiffeners, the present invention can have different rigidities of arch supports to match with various foot biomechanics and gait types in order to provide different arch supports thereto properly.
Athletic positioning apparatus and applications thereof
An apparatus includes a heel section, a mid-foot section, and a toe section. The heel section, the mid-foot section, and the toe section collectively have a geometric shape having a first slope of a polarity along an inner edge of the apparatus from the toe section to the heel section and a second slope of the polarity along the inner edge of the apparatus to an outer edge of the apparatus at the toe section.
Adjustable footbeds for footwear
A footbed having at least one of a thickness adjustment panel and a lateral adjustment fin, each configured to be moved between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first and second configurations providing different fits of a shoe into which the footbed is inserted.
