FOOT PAIN RELIEF DEVICE
A foot pain relief device formed as a shoe or boot insert comprising a plurality of removable pieces designed to be selectively removed from the insert to thereby create a hollow portion, indentation, dip, concavity, groove, or impression area of the insert that allows the injured area to be free from impact of any sort while going through its healing process while the user continues daily activities without feeling discomfort or pain from the injured area of the foot.
MODULAR SPORTS BOOT LINER SYSTEM WITH INTERCHANGEABLE EXTERNAL INSOLE
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a footwear liner system including a liner portion to be worn on a foot and a releasably attachable external insole, releasably attachable to an underside of the liner. In an illustrative example, the external insole may be configured to provide arch support for the insole independent of the liner's conformability to the foot. In an illustrative example, the liner is pliable and moldable. In an illustrative example, the external insole includes a stiff arch support that is independently and releasably attachable to the liner. Various embodiments may advantageously provide an economical sports boot liner assembly with user-integratable custom insole.
Athletic positioning apparatus and applications thereof
An apparatus includes a heel section, a mid-foot section, and a toe section. The heel section, the mid-foot section, and the toe section collectively have a geometric shape having a first slope of a polarity along an inner edge of the apparatus from the toe section to the heel section and a second slope of the polarity along the inner edge of the apparatus to an outer edge of the apparatus at the toe section.
Ballet pointe shoe
A ballet pointe shoe is disclosed comprising a toebox, a platform at a front end of the toebox, a shank, an upper, a heel, and a single continuous sole. The single continuous sole comprises a front end closest to the toebox, a back end closest to the heel, and a waist defined as a narrowest part of the single continuous sole. The waist is positioned at more than 65 percent of the length of the single continuous sole from the front end of the single continuous sole. A ratio of (i) the waist to the back end of the single continuous sole to (ii) the waist to the front end of the single continuous sole is at least 42 percent.
Bunion Correction Footwear Device
A bunion correction footwear device is provided. The bunion correction footwear device includes a primary bladder. The primary bladder is defined by at least one primary bladder member. The primary bladder member, or primary bladder members, define a primary cavity. The primary cavity is connected to a primary pump by a primary tubing. The primary pump is connected to a primary actuator. The primary actuator is designed to allow for air to be forced from the primary pump to the primary cavity when the primary actuator is pressed.
Orthotic Device
The present invention discloses an orthotic device for footwear (10) comprising; a substantially planar body (11) having a resiliently deformable outer peripheral portion (12); a cell frame, and, an inner array (14) of detachably coupleable cells (22), each cell comprising coupling means which permit the cells to detachably couple with the cell frame.
METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING, EVALUATING AND SIMULATING A SHOE
A method for measuring and evaluating functions and a shape of a shoe. The method includes providing a measuring surface with pressure sensors, acquiring pressure values with the pressure sensors via a user wearing the shoe on the user's foot standing on, walking on, and/or running on the measuring surface, evaluating the pressure values acquired by the pressure sensors via a computer program, and determining a shape, a dimension and/or a material of a bottom of the shoe based on the pressure values acquired.
HEEL PAD INSERT AND A METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A heel pad made of a viscoelastic polymer that absorbs shocks and prevents impact related injuries through a low, truncated profile that enables a user to continue to use the original insole. The viscoelastic polymer provides adhesive properties that adheres a rear portion of the original insole to the inside of the shoe, while the leading edge is adjacent between the calcaneus or the heel bone and the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsals during use.
Insole for an orthopedic device
An insole for an orthopedic device includes a top portion including at least one top layer. The top layer defines a top surface arranged to be substantially adjacent a plantar surface of a user's foot. A bottom portion is connected to and arranged opposite the top portion. The bottom portion includes at least one bottom layer. At least one removable element is arranged for removal from at least the bottom portion for defining at least one opening below the top surface. The top surface continuously spans over the at least one opening arranged for off-loading one or more affected areas of the plantar surface of the foot.
System for adjusting pressure locally on the skin and subcutaneous tissue
A system for adjusting pressure locally acting on the skin including a set of adjacent modules distributed so as to form a layer each module includes a cushion capable of changing shape and comprising a cavity, a valve, a tank, and a pressure sensor, wherein the cavity and the tank are in communication with each other by means of the valve, and the sensor is placed so as to sense pressure directly or indirectly acting on the cushion and a feedback loop arranged such as to increase or decrease the change in the shape of the cushion on the basis of the pressure detected by the sensor.
