Micro-battery using glass package

A pre-cut glass body is employed as a separator between an anode current collector and a cathode current collector of a micro-battery. The use of a pre-cut glass body in micro-battery applications provides excellent insulation for the micro-battery and can also result in enhanced battery reliability and lifetime.

The first conductive layer can include a positive terminal to couple with a first wire connected to the cathode. The first conductive layer can define a first opening to pass a second wire. The second conductive layer can include a negative terminal to couple with the second wire connected to the anode. The second conductive layer can define a second opening to pass the first wire. The insulation layer can be disposed between the two conductive layers.

The disclosure provides a battery top cover assembly, comprising top cover plate and a conductive terminal structure. Connectors are formed on a bottom surface of the conductive terminal structure, and the connectors are fitted in a connecting hole of the top cover plate. Outer peripheral walls of the connectors are in contact with and welded with inner peripheral walls of the connectors, so that the conductive terminal structure is fixedly connected to the top cover plate. The independently manufactured and molded terminal structure is welded with the connecting hole of the top cover plate for fixing, which simplifies design and manufacturing process, thereby improving production efficiency and reducing production cost.

Secondary battery

A secondary battery includes a rolled electrode body, a case main body that has a shape of an open cylinder with a bottom; a case cover, a first electrode terminal, and a second electrode terminal. The first electrode terminal and the second electrode terminal support the rolled electrode body. The first electrode terminal is fixed to the case cover, with one end being exposed to the outside of the case main body, and the other end being connected to a first collector portion. The second electrode terminal is fixed, together with the negative-electrode electrode terminal, to the case cover, with one end being exposed to the outside of the case main body, and the other end being connected to a second collector portion.
