An article of footwear, the article including a sole structure and an upper coupled to a top of the sole structure. The upper including an opening and a closure system, wherein the closure system includes at least one first sheet and a plurality of second sheets. The at least one first sheet and the plurality of second sheets being interleaved.
Footwear article with collar elevator
A footwear article includes a collar elevator to raise an ankle collar from a lowered position to a raised position. For example, the ankle collar may be lowered when a wearer slides a foot into or out of the footwear article. The collar elevator may include a forwardly inclined angle. In addition, the footwear article may include a doffing ledge, in some instances, which includes characteristics based on the forwardly inclined angle.
Article of apparel with dynamic and lock-out regions
An article of apparel includes a base layer defined by a Poisson's ratio, and a polymer structure coupled to the base layer. The polymer structure is configured to lower the Poisson's ratio of the base layer. The polymer structure includes a plurality of interconnected members forming an array of cell units. The plurality of interconnected members form cell walls with interior recesses defined within the cell walls.
Ski boot element
Sports boot element comprising all or part of a wall designed to form at least part of a lateral and/or frontal and/or rear and/or lower wall of a sports boot, characterised in that all or part of its wall comprises a material (10) comprising a polymer (11) and a hollow microball (12) filler.
Knitted article with at least one scallop element and methods of manufacture
In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to an article at least partially formed by a knitted component. In some embodiments, the article may include an upper for an article of footwear. The knitted component may include a seamless portion extending from a toe area, through a midfoot area, and to a heel area of the upper on at least one of a lateral and a medial side of the upper. A first course may at least partially form the knitted component, and the first course may extend from the heel area to the toe area of the upper.
ARTICLE HAVING A KNITTED COMPONENT WITH A STRAP
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article formed of a knitted component. The article may be an upper for an article of footwear. The knitted component may have a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a foot-receiving portion of the upper, where the second portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a strap of the upper, where the strap includes a first edge and a second edge secured to the first portion of the knitted component, and where the strap includes a third edge that extends from the first edge to the second edge.
FOOTWEAR AND METHOD
Comfortable, protective, durable, and lightweight footwear with minimal component parts. Both the footwear and the method of constructing the same is streamlined.
Articles of footwear having a leno woven upper with stretch zones
An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper. The upper includes a leno woven fabric having a continuous leno weave pattern of a plurality of warp yarns extending in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of weft yarns extending in a transverse direction. The leno woven fabric includes zones having different stretch characteristics.
Footwear having motorized adjustment system and elastic upper
An article of footwear may include an upper configured to receive a foot of a wearer, the upper including one or more elastic portions and one or more substantially inelastic portions. The footwear may further include a plurality of lace receiving members fixedly attached to an outer surface of the upper on the inelastic portions of the upper. Also, the footwear may include a sole structure fixedly attached to the upper. In addition, the footwear may include a motorized tensioning system including a motorized tightening device and a tensile member extending through the plurality of lace receiving members, the tightening device being configured to apply tension in the tensile member to adjust the size of an internal void defined by the article of footwear by drawing two or more of the plurality of lace receiving members closer to one another.
Footwear upper comprising stretch zones
An upper of an article of footwear comprises a plurality of stretch zones each having a respective stretching capability. Suitable example stretch zones may include four-way stretch zones, two-way stretch zones, and/or lock-out zones. In some examples, an upper having a plurality of stretch zones comprises a single continuous piece of material configured to have regions of different stretching capability. The single piece of material may comprise a layered material having two stretchable outer layers, wherein a plurality of stretch zones of the piece of material are defined by corresponding intermediate layers disposed at selected locations between the outer layers. Examples of intermediate layers providing two-way stretch, four-way stretch, and little or no stretch are disclosed.
