LITHIUM-ION BATTERY MODULE AND APPLICATION THEREOF

The present invention provides a lithium ion battery module and an application thereof. The lithium ion battery module comprises: a plurality of cores, wherein the cores are roll cores, laminated cores or soft package batteries, one end of each core is respectively provided with a positive electrode tab and a negative electrode tab, the positive electrode tabs and the negative electrode tabs of the plurality of cores are connected in series and/or in parallel by means of connecting sheets, and a total positive electrode of the module and a total negative electrode of the module are formed; a plurality of separation parts, each used for accommodating a single core and physically separating each core, the separation part having a structure with an opening at the upper side; a shell; and a cover plate. After the shell and the cover plate are assembled, the internal space is used for accommodating a plurality of separation parts and cores in the separation parts, and the cover plate is provided with a connecting part of the total positive electrode of the module and a connecting part of the total negative electrode of the module. According to the lithium ion battery module, the module is directly assembled from the core level, so that the manufacturing cost is reduced, and the space utilization rate and the process efficiency are improved.

The present invention provides a lithium ion battery module and an application thereof. A pouch type secondary battery in which an electrode lead of the pouch type secondary battery and an electrode lead of an adjacent different pouch type secondary battery are welded together to construct a battery module is provided. The electrode lead of the pouch type secondary battery includes a length extended part so that, after cutting a welded part of the electrode leads of the pouch type secondary battery and the adjacent different pouch type secondary battery to form electrode leads of remaining length, the electrode leads of remaining length are welded together again. A battery module and method of reusing the battery module are also provided.

A pouch type secondary battery in which an electrode lead of the pouch type secondary battery and an electrode lead of an adjacent different pouch type secondary battery are welded together to construct a battery module is provided. The electrode lead of the pouch type secondary battery includes a length extended part so that, after cutting a welded part of the electrode leads of the pouch type secondary battery and the adjacent different pouch type secondary battery to form electrode leads of remaining length, the electrode leads of remaining length are welded together again. A battery module and method of reusing the battery module are also provided.
