Secondary Battery
Disclosed herein is a secondary battery having a vent member. The secondary battery may include an electrode assembly to which an electrode lead is attached, a battery case including an accommodation portion to receive the electrode assembly therein such that a portion of the electrode lead may extend outside the battery case, a lead film disposed around an outer surface of the electrode lead, and a vent member. The battery case may include a sealing portion containing a sealant resin to form a seal at least partially around the electrode assembly. The lead film may be interposed between the electrode lead and the sealing portion. The vent member may contain a vent resin having a lower melting point than the sealant resin. The vent member may at least partially overlap or contact the lead film.

Disclosed herein is a secondary battery having a vent member. The secondary battery may include an electrode assembly to which an electrode lead is attached, a battery case including an accommodation portion to receive the electrode assembly therein such that a portion of the electrode lead may extend outside the battery case, a lead film disposed around an outer surface of the electrode lead, and a vent member. The battery case may include a sealing portion containing a sealant resin to form a seal at least partially around the electrode assembly. The lead film may be interposed between the electrode lead and the sealing portion. The vent member may contain a vent resin having a lower melting point than the sealant resin. The vent member may at least partially overlap or contact the lead film.

Each of edges of the bottom surface coverage area is connected to one of the first side surface coverage areas or one of the second side surface coverage areas; each of the first side surface coverage areas includes a bottom covering portion and two side surface overlapping portions, a bottom edge of the bottom covering portion being connected to one of the edges of the bottom surface coverage area.

In some embodiments, the insulation tape includes a bottom surface coverage area, and a plurality of first side surface coverage areas and a plurality of second side surface coverage areas which are alternately arranged. Each of edges of the bottom surface coverage area is connected to one of the first side surface coverage areas or one of the second side surface coverage areas; each of the first side surface coverage areas includes a bottom covering portion and two side surface overlapping portions, a bottom edge of the bottom covering portion being connected to one of the edges of the bottom surface coverage area.
ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electrochemical device includes an electrode assembly, a housing, a sealing member, and a tab. The housing includes a main body portion and a sealing portion. At least a portion of the sealing member is disposed in the sealing portion, and the sealing member includes a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The tab protrudes from the sealing portion and is arranged between the first sealing member and the second sealing member. The first sealing member includes a first sealing layer and a second sealing layer disposed on the first sealing layer, and the first sealing layer is located between the tab and the second sealing layer. A melting point of the first sealing layer is lower than that of the second sealing layer, and a difference in the melting point between the first sealing layer and the second sealing layer is 35° C. to 50° C.
ELECTROCHEMICAL APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An electrochemical apparatus includes a case and a wound electrode assembly disposed inside the case. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, a first separator or a second separator provided therebetween. A first adhesive layer is provided on at least one of a surface of the first separator facing away from a center of the electrode assembly or a surface of the second separator facing away from a center of the electrode assembly. At least one of the first separator or the second separator extends out from a terminating end of the electrode assembly and is bonded to the case through the first adhesive layer. A bonding area between the first adhesive layer and the case is greater than or equal to 10% of a contact area between the case and the electrode assembly.

A power storage cell comprises an electrode assembly that is composed of a first electrode sheet, a separator and a second electrode sheet stacked in layers, a collector plate that is disposed adjacent to the electrode assembly and has the first electrode sheet connected thereto, and a laminate film that seals the electrode assembly and the collector plate inside, wherein a portion of the laminate film that is located on a major surface of the collector plate has at least one exposure hole that exposes a portion of the collector plate.
Nonaqueous electrolyte battery
Disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte battery using an aqueous sealant composition. The aqueous sealant composition comprises an aqueous dispersion in an amount of 70 mass % or more and 97 mass % or less by mass of solid content, wherein the aqueous dispersion comprises an olefinic polymer as a main component, and a water-soluble polymer in an amount of 3 mass % or more and 30 mass % or less by mass of solid content. The aqueous dispersion comprises an olefinic polymer as a main component. The olefinic polymer is a modified olefinic polymer. The modified olefinic polymer is a partial copolymer of a polymer selected from a group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-propylene polymers, and a polymerizable unsaturated organic acid selected from a group consisting of maleic anhydride, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and esters thereof.
