BATTERY CASSETTE
A battery cassette is disclosed. The battery cassette may include a frame including one or more hollow tubes. The battery cassette may further include a seal component having one or more hollow tubes aligned with the hollow tubes of the frame. The frame and the seal component may be configured to receive one or more battery cells in the hollow tubes.
Structural battery packs and methods related thereto
Batteries are provided that include a base including a body having a hole, and an inner wall extending away from the base and disposed around the hole. An interior of the inner wall and the hole form at least part of a through-hole extending through the battery. The battery includes an outer wall extending away from the base and disposed around the inner wall. Cells are disposed on the base and between the inner wall and the outer wall. Structural battery packs are also provided that include: a hollow elongated member including a first interior space between its first and second ends; and one or more batteries disposed around the hollow elongated member between its first and second ends. Each battery includes a through-hole. The hollow elongated member is disposed through the through-hole of each battery. Methods related to the batteries and the structural battery packs are also provided.
MOVING BODY
A moving body includes a floor panel, and a battery pack disposed below the floor panel. The battery pack includes a battery, a battery case having an opening on an upper side and accommodating the battery, a battery cover covering the opening of the battery case, and a temperature adjustment mechanism provided in the battery cover. A gap is provided at least either between the battery and a bottom surface of the battery case or between an under guard provided below the bottom surface of the battery case and the bottom surface of the battery case.

A moving body includes a floor panel, and a battery pack disposed below the floor panel. The battery pack includes a battery, a battery case having an opening on an upper side and accommodating the battery, a battery cover covering the opening of the battery case, and a temperature adjustment mechanism provided in the battery cover. A gap is provided at least either between the battery and a bottom surface of the battery case or between an under guard provided below the bottom surface of the battery case and the bottom surface of the battery case.
Battery pack arrangement structure
In this battery pack arrangement structure, since a case main body of a battery case is made of a metal by die-casting, not only is it possible to reduce the number of components and the weight by forming, integrally with the case main body, a cross member protruding upward from a case bottom wall and extending in the vehicle width direction and a second fixing portion protruding outward in the vehicle width direction from a case side wall, but it is also possible to enhance the side collision resistance by increasing the strength of the case main body including the cross member and the second fixing portion. Moreover, since the second fixing portion protruding outward in the vehicle width direction from the case side wall is fixed to a floor frame, due to the collision load of a side collision being directly transmitted from the floor frame to the cross member of the case main body and supported, it is possible to ensure the side collision resistance even when the strength of the floor frame is decreased so as to lighten the weight.
POWER SUPPLY DEVICE AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SAME
In order to provide a power supply device having a high rigidity and a light weight, power supply device includes: one or more cell stacked bodies each formed by stacking secondary battery cells; a circuit board including a control circuit electrically connected to the cell stacked bodies; resin-made battery case for storing the cell stacked bodies and circuit board; metal-made lower frame for covering the bottom surface of battery case; and metal-made upper frame for covering the upper surface of battery case. Battery case has a waterproof structure. Battery case is grasped by connecting upper frame to lower frame.
THERMAL COMPOSITE
An example of a thermal composite includes a substrate, a primer layer, a first adhesive layer, a blanket layer, a second adhesive layer, and a metal layer. The blanket layer includes basalt fibers or glass fibers. The thermal composite may be incorporated into a battery pack as a battery enclosure.
Battery Housing Part For A Traction Battery Of An Electric Or Hybrid Vehicle And Battery Housing
A battery housing part for a traction battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle. A first partial region of the battery housing part is composed of a plastic and at least one second partial region is composed of a material that is different therefrom. In this way, high degree of stiffness of the battery housing part can be achieved together with low weight. The second partial region that is composed of a material of a different type can be provided in a targeted manner where the at least one second partial region enables the greatest advantage in respect of the stiffness of the battery housing part. The use of a plastic for other partial regions of the battery housing part makes it possible to keep the weight of the battery housing part low.
Battery module and battery pack including same
A battery module, which includes at least one battery cell and a module case for packaging the at least one battery cell, wherein the module case includes: a top cover configured to cover an upper side of the at least one battery cell; and a side plate configured to cover all of opposing side surfaces of the top cover and opposing side surfaces of the at least one battery cell and configured to be coupled to the top cover by fitting.
