Accumulator arrangement

An accumulator arrangement for a hybrid or electric vehicle includes a plurality of battery cells which are stacked in a stacking direction to form at least one battery block. The at least one battery block is arranged in a housing of the accumulator arrangement. A cooling device includes a cooling plate arranged on one side on the battery block and extending parallel to the stacking direction. On the at least one cooling plate at least one cover plate with at least one cooling channel through which a coolant can flow is secured, facing away from the at least one battery block. The cooling plate forms an outer contour of the fluid-tight housing. The at least one cooling channel of the cover plate is open towards the at least one cooling plate and is closed by the at least one cooling plate.

An external battery device is implemented which can detachably engage with a smartwatch to thereby enable seamless battery replacement and smartwatch battery replenishment without having to remove the smartwatch from a user's wrist. The external battery device can be a bezel that aesthetically fits in a cut-out around a perimeter of the smartwatch's face and locks in place using, for example, a male-female connection mechanism. The external battery device includes a casing that functions as the bezel for the watch. The casing includes a channel inside which a rechargeable battery is positioned. The male connectors of the external battery device extend downward from a hole in the casing to engage with corresponding female receptacles on the smartwatch. In typical implementations, two different shapes of the male and female connection mechanisms may be used to provide a consistent manner in which the user connects the external battery device to the smartwatch.

A battery module includes: a cell laminated body; a first and a second end plates which are provided at both end portions of the cell laminated body; and a sensor device which is mounted on a mounting surface and detects the voltage of each cell in the cell laminated body. The sensor device includes: a sensor device body; and a sensor fixing portion which is fixed to the first end plate by a fastening member. In the perpendicular direction, an end surface of the fastening member is located to be lower than or equal to an end surface of the sensor device body, the mounting surface of the cell laminated body is located to be lower than a bottom surface of the sensor fixing portion, and an end surface of the first end plate is located to be lower than the mounting surface of the cell laminated body.

The most-exposed battery cell has a maximum exposed area to the outside of the battery case among all of the three or more battery cells. The second temperature sensor is provided to detect the temperature of a least-exposed one of the three or more battery cells. The least-exposed battery cell has a minimum exposed area to the outside of the battery case among all of the three or more battery cells.
