A pouch cell includes a copper foil forming a pouch, an active material layer adjacent to the copper foil inside the pouch forming a cathode with the copper, and a lithium-based anode inside the pouch. The cell includes a separator interposing the one active material layer and the lithium-based anode, and an electrolyte. In other embodiments, the active material forms an anode with the copper and the cathode is a lithium-based cathode.

The present disclosure provides a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery includes: a shell having an opening; an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator; a cap assembly including a cap plate and a first electrode terminal; a lower insulator located at a side of the cap plate away from the terminal board; and a wiring board including a main body portion and an extension portion, wherein the main body portion is located at a side of the lower insulator away from the cap plate and connected to the first electrode plate, the extension portion extends into the electrode lead-out hole and connected to the first electrode terminal, the first electrode plate is electrically connected to the first electrode terminal through the wiring board, and the first electrode terminal does not extend beyond a lower surface of the lower insulator.

The present disclosure provides a battery cap assembly and a secondary battery. The battery cap assembly comprises a cap plate, a first electrode terminal and a first connecting piece. The cap plate is made of insulating material and includes a first terminal hole; the first electrode terminal is provided to the cap plate and extends into the first terminal hole; the first connecting piece is provided below the cap plate. The first connecting piece includes a first connecting portion connected with the first electrode terminal, an upper surface of the first connecting portion is attached to the cap plate. The secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly, a case and the battery cap assembly. The case receives the electrode assembly and has an opening. The cap plate is connected with the case, the first connecting portion of the first connecting piece is electrically connected with the first electrode plate.

The battery includes a housing having a sealed chamber, a core packaged in the sealed chamber, and a first terminal and a second terminal respectively mounted to the housing, where the first terminal is electrically connected to the housing, and the second terminal is insulated from the housing. The battery further includes a first tab and a second tab respectively led out from the core, the first tab being electrically connected to the housing, the first tab being electrically connected to the first terminal through the housing, and the second tab being electrically connected to the second terminal.

A battery, a battery pack, and a vehicle are disclosed. The battery includes a housing having a sealed chamber, a core packaged in the sealed chamber, and a first terminal and a second terminal respectively mounted to the housing, where the first terminal is electrically connected to the housing, and the second terminal is insulated from the housing. The battery further includes a first tab and a second tab respectively led out from the core, the first tab being electrically connected to the housing, the first tab being electrically connected to the first terminal through the housing, and the second tab being electrically connected to the second terminal.

An overcharge protection device cover assembly for use with a battery cell housing. The battery cell housing has a first terminal and a second terminal, the overcharge protection device cover assembly including a first terminal pad having a first length. The first terminal pad is contactable with the first terminal of the battery cell housing. The assembly also includes a second terminal pad having a second length that is greater than the first length. The second terminal pad is contactable with the second terminal of the battery cell housing. A reversal device of the assembly is deflectable toward the first and second terminal pads. A conductive element of the assembly is positioned between the reversal device and the first and second terminal pads.

Provided is a secondary battery, including: an electrode assembly, a packing bag, an electrode lead and an insulation part; the electrode assembly is housed in the packing bag having a sealing part on edge, and the electrode lead is connected to the electrode assembly and passes through the sealing part. A rechargeable battery according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly which is charged with an electric current and discharged; a casing which accommodates therein the electrode assembly; a cap plate which is coupled to an opening of the casing; and an electrode terminal which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly and installed in a terminal hole of the cap plate, the electrode terminal including: a plate terminal which is disposed outside the cap plate and has a coupling hole; and a rivet terminal which is installed in the terminal hole and coupled to the coupling hole, and the plate terminal and the rivet terminal include torque resistance increasing portions which are formed at a coupling interface between the coupling hole and the rivet terminal and increase torque resistive force of the plate terminal with respect to a z-axis of the rivet terminal.

Various embodiments of the present invention pertain to a secondary battery, and a technical problem thereof to be solved is providing a secondary battery that is capable of equalizing internal/external pressure. To this end, disclosed in the present invention is a secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly; a case that accommodates the electrode assembly; a cap plate that seals the case, and that has a safety vent that is ruptured when internal pressure of the case rises; a terminal portion that is electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and that extends outwardly from the cap plate; and a pressure equalization structure that is formed on the cap plate so as to equalize the internal pressure and external pressure of the case.
