In the charging and discharging process, current passes through the conductive member or passes through both the conductive member and the metal housing, in whichever cases, the resistance in the charging and discharging process of the battery cell is lower than that in the case of current passing through the metal housing only.

According to the embodiment, it is possible to effectively prevent and delay breakage of a fusion portion of a sealing part of a secondary battery from occurring due to pressure caused by discharge of gas generated inside the secondary battery.
