The battery module includes a stack of battery cells; a cover accommodating the stack of battery cells; and a bus bar electrically connecting the battery cells; a relay comprising a connection terminal coupled to the bus bar; and a joint block coupled to the bus bar and the connection terminal of the relay.

A rechargeable battery according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly which is charged with an electric current and discharged; a casing which accommodates therein the electrode assembly; a cap plate which is coupled to an opening of the casing; and an electrode terminal which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly and installed in a terminal hole of the cap plate, the electrode terminal including: a plate terminal which is disposed outside the cap plate and has a coupling hole; and a rivet terminal which is installed in the terminal hole and coupled to the coupling hole, and the plate terminal and the rivet terminal include torque resistance increasing portions which are formed at a coupling interface between the coupling hole and the rivet terminal and increase torque resistive force of the plate terminal with respect to a z-axis of the rivet terminal.

A secondary battery has increased space utilization efficiency and can increase a capacity of an electrode assembly within a given dimension. In an exemplary embodiment, a secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly including an electrode uncoated portion; a case receiving the electrode assembly; a cap plate coupled to a top portion of the case and sealing the case; and a current collector including a terminal connector positioned between the electrode assembly and the cap plate, and an electrode connector bent at an end of the terminal connector and positioned between the electrode assembly and the case, and the electrode connector includes a first region connected to the terminal connector and protruding toward the case, and a second region positioned under the first region and protruding toward the electrode assembly.

The present disclosure provides a cap assembly for a secondary battery, a secondary battery and a battery module. The cap assembly for the secondary battery includes a cap plate, a first electrode terminal, and a sealing member, wherein: the cap plate has an electrode lead-out hole; the first electrode terminal includes a first terminal board and a second terminal board connected with the first terminal board, wherein the first terminal board is located at a side of the second terminal board away from the cap plate, the second terminal board covers the electrode lead-out hole, and the material of the first terminal board and the material of the second terminal board have different base metals; the sealing member surrounds the electrode lead-out hole and is disposed between the cap plate and the first electrode terminal to seal the electrode lead-out hole.

An electrode assembly includes a first electrode; a second electrode; and a separator, the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator wound about an axis defining a core and an outer circumference of the electrode assembly. The first electrode has a pair of first sides and a pair of second sides, a first portion extending between the pair of first sides, and a second portion extending between the pair of first sides, the first portion being coated with an active material, and at least a part of the second portion includes an electrode tab. The second portion includes a first part adjacent to the core of the electrode assembly, a second part adjacent to the outer circumference of the electrode assembly, and a third part between the first part and the second part. The invention discloses a battery covering structure with replaceable terminals, comprising a covering and terminals, the terminals are located on the covering, and the covering is used for connecting with the battery body, the terminals are detachably connected with the covering. The invention makes the replacement of terminals convenient and quick, which enables the structure to be matched with various types of automobiles and motorcycles, and is beneficial to improving the applicability of battery.
