A battery terminal includes a terminal main body and a protector to be mounted to the terminal main body, wherein the terminal main body includes an operating section for clamping and tightening the battery post, and the protector includes a movable section provided with a contact section to be brought into contact with the upper surface of the battery main body, and a displacement section to be freely displaced between a covering position for covering the operating section and a retracted position with an external force applied on the contact section, wherein in the retracted position, the displacement section is retracted from the covering position, and wherein the displacement section is displaced to the retracted position by pressing the contact section against the upper surface of the battery main body so that the access to the operating section is allowed.

Cylindrical or button battery

The present disclosure discloses a cylindrical or button battery. The battery includes a cap, a shell and a ring seal, wherein the cap and the shell are both of a tubular structure having a cover portion and are fitted together to form a hermetic space for accommodating a battery cell; the ring seal is located between a side wall of the cap and a side wall of the shell and is capable of shrinking or being torn when reaching a set temperature so as to form a slit between the side wall of the cap and the side wall of the shell to release pressure. The ring seal of the battery can shrink or be torn at the set temperature to release pressure, and therefore the battery is characterized by excellent safety.

Battery Cell Including Protection Member

The present invention relates to a battery cell that can include an electrode assembly configured with two or more unit stacks connected to each other in series or in parallel, a battery case configured to receive the electrode assembly therein, and an insulative protection member configured to protect an electrode tab portion of the unit stacks. The overall length of the battery case can be three or more times the overall width of the battery case. A positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead can extend outwards from the battery case protruding in opposite directions. A plurality of unit stacks can be used to implement a long battery cell, and a connection portion at which the plurality of unit stacks are connected is reinforced to improve safety of the battery cell.

The present application provides a mounting base, a battery and a power consuming device, which relate to the technical field of batteries. The mounting base may be configured to be connected to an end plate and an output electrode, and an insulating structure may be provided on one side of the end plate and configured to insulate the end plate from a battery cell. The mounting base may include a main body provided with a flow guiding groove on the side facing the insulating structure. The flow guiding groove may be configured to prevent an electrical connection between the output electrode and the end plate by means of a liquid between the main body and the insulating structure.

The looped tab may comprise a first portion adjacent to the set of layers, and a second portion adjacent to an inner sidewall of the enclosure. At least a portion of the first portion and at least a portion of the second portion comprise a covered portion. The covered portion comprises a metal surface and an oxide coating covering the metal surface. The oxide coating is configured to prevent contact between a layer in the set of layers or the inner sidewall of the enclosure and the metal surface.

A busbar that comprises an insulative portion that covers at least a portion of an electrically conductive body is provided. The insulative portion comprises a polymer composition that includes a polymer matrix containing a liquid crystalline polymer. The composition exhibits a comparative tracking index of about 125 volts or more as determined in accordance with IEC 60112:2003 at a thickness of 3 millimeters, and a deflection temperature under load of about 200° C. or more as determined according to ISO 75-2:2013 at a specified load of 1.8 MPa.

A battery, including a packaging case and a cell assembly, where the packaging case includes a cover, and the cell assembly is provided in the packaging case. The battery further includes a first adapter which is connected to the cover. The cell assembly includes a first tab which protrudes outward from a side of the cell assembly. The first tab and the first adapter are electrically connected, and they are bent toward an outer surface of the cell assembly. In the foregoing battery, a connection structure of a tab has been changed to the outside of the cell assembly by using the first adapter, and the tab and the first adapter are directly bent to the outer surface of the cell assembly, simplifying connection and bending, and reducing operation difficulty.

A battery block includes assembled batteries that are arranged in parallel to each other, and the plurality of assembled batteries are each formed of a plurality of batteries as a unit. Each of the batteries has a positive-electrode terminal and a negative-electrode terminal on one end portion of the battery. The assembled battery includes: the plurality of batteries which are arranged in a row with one end portions of the batteries directed in the same direction; an insulation holder which is arranged on one end portion side of the batteries and holds the batteries; and a positive-electrode bus bar and a negative-electrode bus bar arranged on one end portions of the batteries. The positive-electrode bus bar and the negative-electrode bus bar are respectively held by holding portions which are formed on the insulation holder along a row direction and in parallel to each other.
