A radar system for detecting the environment of a motor vehicle includes an antenna assembly comprising plastic and including one or more individual antennas for transmitting and/or receiving radar signals. A circuit board includes at least one area that is permeable by radar waves. At least one high-frequency component is coupled to one side of the circuit board and includes at least one radiating element for direct emission or receipt of radar waves in the direction of the circuit board in the least one area that is permeable by radar waves. The antenna assembly is disposed on the other side of the circuit board opposite the at least one high-frequency component. The antenna assembly includes a coupling/decoupling point disposed in the at least one area of the circuit board permeable by radar waves.
Antenna
Disclosed are aspects of an antenna including a body having a convex surface. A conductive structure is deposited onto an antenna region of the convex surface. The conductive structure is configured as a conformal slot antenna array. The antenna region of the convex surface includes corrugations having peaks and valleys. A plurality of slots of the conformal slot antenna array are located at the peaks and the valleys of the convex surface.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle equipped with a cabin that covers a driving part is disclosed. The work vehicle an antenna unit provided on an upper part of a cabin left side face part, which is one side face part out of left and right side face parts of the cabin, and a handrail part provided on the cabin left side face part and used to perform work on the antenna unit.
Patch antenna and antenna device for vehicle
A patch antenna includes a flat-plate radiating element; and a metal wall provided outside a peripheral edge of the radiating element, such that a wall surface of the metal wall intersects a line connecting a center of the radiating element and a feeding point. An antenna device for a vehicle includes: the patch antenna; a housing installed in a predetermined orientation at a predetermined position of the vehicle; and a support supporting the patch antenna such that the patch antenna is used for vertically polarized waves when the housing is installed in the predetermined orientation at the predetermined position.
Device, system and method for providing a modular antenna assembly
Techniques and mechanisms to provide satellite communication functionality with an antenna assembly. In an embodiment, a communication device includes an antenna panel (comprising one or more holographic antenna elements), a housing and hardware interfaces which facilitate operation of the communication device has a module of the antenna display. A cross-sectional profile of the housing may conform to a polygon other than any rectangle. A configuration of the housing and hardware interfaces may facilitate the formation of an antenna assembly arrangement other than that of any rectilinear array. In another embodiment, communication devices of the antenna assembly each conform to a triangle or a hexagon.
Cover member having plurality of faces, and radar apparatus provided with the cover member
A radar apparatus includes transmitting means, receiving means, target detection means, and a cover member. The cover member is positioned opposite at least one of the transmitting means and the receiving means, such as to cover at least one of the transmitting means and the receiving means. The cover member is provided with a first face which is positioned opposite at least one of the transmitting means and the receiving means, and a second face which is on an opposite side from the first face and is not parallel to the first face.
Gradient permittivity film
A gradient permittivity film comprises (a) a first permittivity layer comprising a first continuous matrix of a first material having a first relative permittivity (ε.sub.r1) and a second component having a second relative permittivity (ε.sub.r2) dispersed in the first continuous matrix, the first permittivity layer having a first effective layer relative permittivity (ε.sub.1) and a thickness (T.sub.1); and (b) a second permittivity layer having a second effective layer relative permittivity (ε.sub.2) and a thickness (T.sub.2) disposed on the first permittivity layer T.sub.1=0.8(t.sub.1) to 1.2(t.sub.1), where t.sub.1=(I); T.sub.2=0.8(t.sub.2) to 1.2 (T.sub.2), where T.sub.2=(II).
